I liked it :) maybe try cutting out/muting the dialogue and inserting inter-titles, or just relying on gesture, and keeping the film silent, see how it feels then :D

there was a big mistake in that advert as good as it is, but he hands the bartender the watch but when he lifts the glass to his mouth u can still clearly see that he is wearing it. oh no

I love this one, I speak French myself, I'm Belgian, but I wasn't bothered by the little flaws. I like the typical 30's filming style you used which leaves a lot to the imagination. Good job!

okay mr french, he is saying "my wallet". Why is watch feminine?

In french "my wallet" is "mon portefeuille" and montre is feminine because it is... Just like a table or a chair is feminine. In french every word is either masculine or feminine there's not a whole lot of logic to it from what I know but I'm not a linguist.

Nice ad by the way I enjoyed it. Just trying to tell you what to change if you want to use french like stella artois did in some of their ads.

Yeah, if it was a serious project I would have invested in a translator and script supervisor, but it wasn't so I guess it is free to be picked holes in.
