  • I notice your vibrato has no real "tempo" though. It's just vibrating fast. Well i don't know, i learned that to make it more effective, you can do vibrato in eighth notes, triplets, and so on. Well that's the way i see it.

  • sounds like a cello...nice but funny...

  • @Mauriciovideomaker saxes were made to sound like cellos

  • the rico royal reserve classic reeds are great for my. i really like them

  • Tim is a fantastic player, and the Rico upper level reeds are the highest quality.

  • its true that rico is not that good. however, i like his sound

  • Haha I did the solo he played in the beginning Fantasia and got a 95 on it that was great and I like how he does vibrato.

  • why does he move his left hand so much? terrible technique.

  • @ap1027 and yet hes still better then you

  • @GOLDMATT123 I don't believe I ever said he wasn't better than me...

  • @ap1027 it's called not playing like a bitch

  • @templesaxman Your intellectual response astounds me

  • dude the backround is the same as the backround in the geico commercials

  • sounds like a violin! :D

  • His playing sounds like a cello!

  • van dorens are so much better. rico's are too stiff. they limit my range, especially on the lower notes for my tenor

  • rico reeds suck ..

  • Rico reads=poop

  • @skateit812 vandoren all the way

  • @skateit812 rico reeds<poop

  • @skateit812 ever tried plasticover? i want to try it....

  • what type of mouthpiece and reed are you using?

  • Oh, I saw him live at the Sax symposium.

  • McAllister is amazing. I'm a student at the Crane School of Music and he taught there up until a few years ago. Though I never had the pleasure of being under his tutelage, I hear great stories of him from the older students.

  • I love his sound. It's great... I just wish I could understand what he's saying with the jaw thing. Like, are you supposed to move it? Because I don't notice him moving his jaw... I'm confused

  • It's not a big movement. You can't really see someone moving their mouth when they do it--it's just like you're saying "yahyahyahyah". Little jaw movements do it, at least for me.

  • Reply@aallisoncryan

You can do it only with your mpc in front of a mirror to see how your jaw move

  • I likah this!!!

  • kinda sounding like a well played cello

  • wow, now thats how the sax should sound

  • He's playing the Villa-Lobos Fantasia at the beginning - great piece. I think it sound better on tenor than soprano. And yeah, this guy rules.

  • This guy is one of the best classical saxophonists in the world. And he is a very nice guy!

  • He is amazing.
