Where do you put your focus point to get the best depth of field for that shot, and would the shot be better if you balance the flashlight with a CTO?
Hi- I note that you have an olympus ?? camera but what appears to be a Minolta flash. Is this correct and if so how well do they work together eg TTL or are you using it's auto settings., also what about trigger voltage concerns?
Make sure you are NOT in any automatic modes. (ie Auto, portrait, macro, etc). Use manual modes like P, AV, TV or M, and use the flash pop up button at the just below the flash on the front of the camera to bring flash out.

How Do i Force my built in flash to fire during daylight incase i need to use it? I have an xsi.
