those germans... ok they were a big market for the band...a lot of their fans were germans... but the ZDF channel just cut the last few seconds of the song... and I really like the end of the song... grrr

the Sweet is a really good band, many great songs. No, they're technical not 'better' then Queen of DP, but they are very good and now to hit the right string for the rock 'n roll fans.

@ThePaistecat well, they used to be bubble gum/ glam, but later on they became a lot heavier, especially after the album "Fanny Adams". I agree with you that Sweet is an absolutely genius, beautiful, bad ass hard rock, and I truly believe that sweet was the first group to actually play heavy metal (with respect to the time period of course). its a shame that they weren't as well known as queen or deep purple.

@scooter88100 What ??? Queen got their style from Sweet ?? You have no clue... I do like Both Bands, But Sweet got their ,,Style,, from Chinn&Chapman who did Co-Write/Produced their Hits.

Queen had their own style, if you listen to early Queen & Early Sweet you will quite reconize the difference. There is in NO way any comparison between Sweet and Queen...Totally different leages

@Hanzey666 sweet got rid of chin/chapman and started writing and produceing there own stuff from about the fox on the run single also there earlier albums were more rock than glam which is what they wanted and wasnt chin chapmans influence that was just the glam singles ,im not talking about early stuff anyway queen nicked some of there later stuff cos sweets producer went to work with queen and elo . swweet were underated and there later stuff never got the recognition it deserved
