I agree with you that 3 & 6 look best. I think I prefer 3 to 6 because it looks like 6 has the leg flying back farther, maybe too much. How do these look as walks if played back at a lower FPS? You know me and my long stride walks. :)
I'm thinking they would be too slow. I haven't tried (and can't until I can access my X-drive again), but considering this is already pretty slow to most typical runs, it might look strange (unless I take a few frames out of course). I'll see what it looks like when I can :)
I envy you. Ironic, because I use the same exact camera but formatted for mac. But the catch is, this mac version doesn't have manual focus, which makes animating the biggest pain ever. It is true that the pro 9000 has manual focus, right?
If your making him walk i suggtest not bringing the arms up too much if i took these little pieces more seriously i would want to look at how a real person walks
well, I had another test specifically for walking. But most of these tests in this one halfway look like a walk.
The problem I find is that people make the walk really fast. I ended up making really slow ones, in comparison, and so in contrast my run doens't have to be too much faster (what I use now is a good combination).

mabye move the arms up a bit more. becuase when you run you pump your arms for speed.

Yes, that is a good point. Though, I was trying more to focus on perfecting the leg placement, so a million other things look bad about it.
(to anyone who reads) Which method, if done properly, would you prefer? (#s 1-6)
