Awesome video, like the BGM too. I wonder why participant Europe countries doesn't install their own fabrics near Airbus HQ (in France), that way parts will not be need to be shipped from far distances.

its not a wonder, everybody in all countries wants to make some business with the Airbus. Wings from Spain, engines from UK, fuselage and toilets probably from Germany, eletronics from France or doors from Czech Republic. Of course it is a bad slow and not effective system but political decisions are not usually based on effective reasons :) and now everybody are wondered why Airbus is now in red numbers and couple thousands jobs was canceled. I love an european socialistic sense for business :D

Um, buddy, you do realise that Boeing does pretty much the same thing, right? Except that for them, the pieces are shipped in from far farther away than for Airbus. The 777's wings, for example, are built in JAPAN and shipped to the US. For the 787, parts will be coming from all over the US, from Japan, South Korea, Italy etc. It's just theway things are done these days.
