that last guy might have assumed youd follow up with second super from zero and kill anyway but he shouldnt have quit regardless. i would say howd he make it to 5th lord to but be honest i have seen ppl like that on xbox at 5th lord but they usually have some type of spam team and once they lose they rage quit. guys that play like that last guy usually are a little higher than that and better than that too
or when i watched the final video for vanilla and watch the guy with sentinel not knowing how to extend to 2 supers in the corner. in fact he went xfactor unnecessarily and still didnt get it right

I think the reason why xbox player are a bit better than ps3 players are because of the the over all online smoothness. PS3( which i have) is a bit more laggy than the xbox ver of MVC (Which i have) even though they have the same net code i just think the xbox servers are better than ps3's own. the result of high lag means you have to dumb down your combos and tactics against your rival on xbox i can pull of more combos and it just seems smoother online

You should analyze full matches in the future. You are new that much is obvious, but one thing you need to do to level up as a player is to get out of that mindset of "He plays runaway, what a pussy." You need to read the article called "Playing to win" by David Sirlin. You should start looking at other players and be wowed by new styles.

I plan to have other series's for more specific match analysis. I actually watch WNF quite a bit, but I'm not really a natural when it comes to these kinds of games.
i can agree with all you said but have to say that high ranking people hate to lose cause they think they are the best. i do understand. its new and its your show of rage quiting. get them all. but high lvls do rage quit more i feel cause they are not use to losing. ive played guys with 10/200 recs on mvc3 and they stay and just lose.

I think the difference between the services varies greatly with the game. I personally thought the fighting game crowd on the PS3 would be better than the X360 purely because of how uncomfortable the Xbox controller is for fighting games. Do you plan on changing your team with the new additions to the roster/changes to existing characters?
@Carmelloh Haha, it's been tough for ranked because my vanilla team was completely buffed! When I play with cameraman I actually use nova and dr strange quite a bit. Virgil is actually shockingly easy to pick up but I hate playing characters everyone uses online so I don't intend on making him part of my starting lineup.

@jmoonies lol I almost always found tougher opponents on PSN in any fighting game I play, especially after Marvel 2 re-release. I havent played UMvC3 online yet but I'm pretty sure u found tougher opponents on XBL because when u finally got to PSN the good players already started leveling up to their previous vanilla rankings. Yeah, PSN players are usually little kids who own/got a playstation for christmas, and the game, and decide to play online... whereas XBOX players, yknow, pay to play online, so they either have a job, or are spoiled.
@Choxie808 You got it backwards... All the kids these days actually want Xboxes because it's simply "cooler." That's why you don't hear as many little kids on voice chat on PS3 as on 360. Not just talking about fighting games, but online overall.
