Roush was a very bad manger of personnel. If Mark had a great year (which was all but 2 of his 19yrs with Roush), Roush would switch up personnel to make the other teams better. Of course now we know with Mark being part-time and almost winning the Daytona 500 with a historically sub-par team just how great a driver he is.
