  • Excellent video of a wonderful story. I reversed liver failure using probiotics, an all organic diet, and daily juicing. Terminal disease can undoubtedly be reversed without drugs or surgery using plants from the Earth.

  • I love you George...Thanking you for all you do and for being YOU..!

  • I was 100% raw during the summer and I felt great, my acne disappeared, I lost over 35 pounds in just a month, and I was sleeping less but had so much more energy. But as soon as it started to get cold outside my body started craving the warm/hot foods, so now I am 85-90% raw and still feeling good! I am not 100% vegan, but it is one of my goals :)

  • Pastor, You are making a huge difference in my home. Thanks a million!

  • Fantastic interview Kevin! Thank you!

  • Interesting!! It was through Rev Geroge Malkmus & Hallelujah Acer I discovered raw vegan diet 6 years ago. Thanks for interviewing Rev Malkmus. God Bless

  • Detox...or starvation? Usually the body GAINS fat before it gets healthy enough to adjust to optimal body composition.

  • An excellent video, once again demonstrating the HEALING power of our own body when it is given raw, nutritious food.

Just do the best you can, and your diet will naturally improve over time as long as you stay committed.

  • Thank you for the video. I am work on going raw this video was a blessing to me thank again. love and peace.

  • I'm currently doing 99.5% raw and I've had much less problems than when I used to have whole cheat meals (I aim for 100% raw). The 0.5% is literally just a rare taste, eg of something the kids have made. However previously my cheat meals were often just any old regular food, they used to make me feel ill.

I often tell people that high raw and simple healthy cooked food is a good way to go.

Check out 'God's Way To Ultimate Health' by George Malkmus. It's excellent and inspiring.

  • I've seen juicers at Goodwill for $15, i actually got mine for free from an old roommate. I've also seen Vitamix's on craigslist for as low as $100 for an old one.

  • my husband and i tried going 100% but found he was losing weight too fast, since then we have incorporated more cooked, but good, food and it has been working out. Still trying to work with it to make it best for us, but i agree with what Mr. Malkmus said about the transition being much easier. Who knows, with time we may get more raw. What matters though is that we feel better.

  • In the future, can you please make a video on super foods or raw foods to help you gain weight/muscle mass.

  • Wonderful Video!

  • Thank you Kevin. This guy looks very healthy for a 73 years old man. But he didn't say what he was eating. What does 15% cooked mean? and is he high fruit or high nuts raw

  • 15% cooked vegan. Hallelujah Acres Diet is neither high fruit nor nuts. It recommends those in low quantities, emphasizing raw vegetables. You can find the details of the diet at hacres com. Use Health Minister ID 'DUI' if you buy any of their great products!

  • This was an assume video. I was 100% my first year and have now been eating some steam vegetables and rice. Man it taste so good. Although I still need to be careful cause my stomach can be very sensitive. I was the 1111 viewer on this vid......Very Powerful number:) Thanks for sharing and doing your part in the world.

  • Fantastic interview! Sounds like the man is grounded in reality and knows his stuff. Very helpful. Perhaps you could interview him regularly!

  • 100% was too ungrounding for me, but i felt tired on cooked since my body became used to all raw.

  • I personally feel great eating very close to 100% raw as long as I eat enough mineral-dense foods, like green superfood smoothies and salads with seed pates. I think getting enough minerals and greens is key. I do add hot herbal teas to my diet to balance my constitution and different energies, especially in the winter. Having some form of heat is important for my body, and teas seem to do the trick for me.

  • Been high raw vegetarian for 2 years. In that time I have healed low back pain, headaches, hypoglycemia. Skin is clearer and I have way more energy. The longest I've gone 100% consistently was 30 days. I've never felt that good in my life. The only reason I eat cooked food is because I'm addicted. End up eating bread products, veggie burgers. My goal is 100% because I believe it is our true optimal diet. Def. Agree with the juicing. I feel the best on the days I juice. Surge of Energy.

  • this is in my the best video yet!! my company specialises in high raw eating/alkaline lifestyle, it is more do-able!! most people we work with do not even desire to be 100% raw and when they discover they do not need to be they are liberated fron all the "falling of the wagon guilt" its all about PH acid or alkaline!!!!!

  • Strict Vegetarian. 100% raw makes me feel too bloated personally. I'm sure it's great for people who can handle it. I do 50% raw 50% cooked w/no animal products and no refineds.

  • I've found I get bloated as well but I've been drinking/eating a lot of green smoothies the last few days in the morning and the raw veggies don't seem to be bothering my stomach as much. Maybe it's because I've given my digestive tract a rest from the solid foods.

  • I am trying to transition to a 80-95% raw food diet, I could never do 100% though. Thats just me. Just two months ago I was eating a typical SAD diet, and am now eating a completely vegan diet and feeling fantastic! My goal is to slowly transition within the next year or so, so I don't shock my system, and My husband.

  • did 80/10/10 for 2 weeks. I felt "high" on it. NO body odor whatsoever, FRESHEST breath ever, stools smelled good haha. Needed less sleep too! But it required too big of a lifestyle change (no time to eat and poop ALL day, I have a job!) I have candida now so I'm doing the body ecology diet (which I really recommend if your dealing with yeast overgrowth). When I'm symptom free I plan on going more raw to get that "high". But I don't believe in 100% long term.

  • I think the 80/10/10 could cause candida long term as sugar is a pre-curser to yeast. Too much fruit turns to acid and creates yeast. I think if you ate a higher percentage of green smoothies and salads you'd do better and the candida would clear up.

  • Thank you for your advice! I'm going to stay on the anti-candida diet for at least 6 months. I plan on doing a long cleanse with water, fruits, veggies, in the woods for a couple months in the future too. Wish me luck!

  • That was great.

  • ah finally the wisdom of sages..thanks kevin

  • I can't do 100%. It makes me insane. I do what this gentleman does, similarly. I do mostly raw and then brown rice and an Asian/Macrobiotic kind of diet. All whole foods. I do raw until dinner and then have a sensible macrobiotic dinner.

  • SO if i use a vitamixer im making my body work hard to digest?? I dont see wasting that fiber , is this true??

  • great interview.. when i went 100% raw I lost so much weight so fast. scary

  • I'm 100 percent RAW baby!!! loving it!! everyone can do it to...

  • I am working my way up the raw food ladder. I want to become 100% raw but it is challenging so I'm not so sure now. I eat primarily raw and some grains and cooked vegan foods on the weekends. This seems to work for me so I would say I am about 85/15 and this is much easier than 100%. My blender broke so I need a new one!

  • this was one of the best vids i've seen from you guys. THANKS!

  • I'm *almost* 100% raw except for the occasional jarred kalamata olives, jarred sundried tomatoes packed in oil and Balsamic vinegar.

For now, it's what my body wants. When it's time to do something differently, I rely on my body to let me know.

Great interview Kevin - I loved it! *Ü*

  • I was 100% raw for a while but i think the biggest problem is getting the majority of your calories from either fruit or fat, which after being raw for a while will make you come to a logical conclusion that there is not a correct balance. And after studying the work of Dr. Stanley Bass i have gone to about 85% Raw using psuedo grains like quinoa and millet, steamed vegetables or soups, and this really seems like a good balance for me. 100% of anything is a bit extreme, Life is about balance.

  • It seems that is a bit deceptive (not that you are personally being deceptive) in that its extreme...if it was 100 percent one food, maybe, but 100 percent raw is a huge variety of food, its just not cooking it...i know personally for me, its definitely the goal as the days i eat 100 percent are my best days

  • Hey Kevin, make a video on healthy foods that help you gain weight. Thanks for all the videos.

  • it was really good.. although i was more like 95% raw.. cured my asthma.. and a terrible skincondition...

  • i tried to go 100% raw and liked the results but i just couldn't stop cheating. i tried will power to be 100% and made it for awhile but just couldn't stop myself from cheating. I was driving myself crazy, i realized it wouldn't work so i decided that i would just forgive myself all cheats, focus on balancing my diet instead of fretting if something is raw or not. I'm running on 90% raw and i think i can stay this way without going crazy. =^-^=

  • I feel much better on 100 percent raw but keep cheating as well...emotionally i feel okay, but health wise, I know the best result for me is 100 percent...I am really committed to getting there

  • I would definitely like to get to 100% raw at some stage in the future but keeping in some cooked veggies, whole grains, etc is helping with that transition for me. I try to have 2-3 juices per day (carrot/apple, green with sunflower spouts/celery/cucumber/kale) and either green smoothies or superfood smoothies.) Rest is salads, cooked potatoes, broccoli, brussels sprouts and the like. Whole grain bread is nice but sends me to sleep!!! Lovin the shows :-D

  • I never lose weight as quickly as when I'm 100%. I've found that I have to do things cold turkey - if I were to have a cup of coffee today, by next week I'd be drinking two cups a day, but I haven't had any since June and I'm keeping it that way - I can't cheat, otherwise it's too easy to get derailed. It's important not to be rigid, though. People that aren't like me and can eat a bowl of oatmeal and otherwise stay raw should do it, particularly if the oats keep them away from chips.

  • I haven't tried to go 100% yet. I did get a Vitamix this year and have been doing green smoothies. I have my parents old juicer and my husband and I try to have a juice everyday (carrot, celery, bell pepper, tomato.) Thanks for interviewing Rev. Malkmus. I was in my local health food store last week and they had an advertisement of a lady on the Hallelujah Diet who's offering detox foot baths. It encouraged me to realize there are other local people eating mostly raw.

  • I bought a Breville juice fountain on Amazon about a month ago. I had never juiced before. I juice granny smith apples and carrots. The juice tastes so good.

This information is very similar to the Gerson Therapy and it can help with all ailments if administered as directed. Max Gerson, the founder of Gerson Therapy, was one of the brightest doctors that ever lived.

Thanks for the interview : )

  • Hey Kevin, What do you think the best way to find like minded people in my area? I mean like raw foodists. I know there is no way I can do this on my own. My whole family is not behind me on my quest to eat healthy and I cant seem to find others that I can learn from. So im failing. Is there a good site you could recommend to help me find others in my area that want to live raw?

  • they don't usually answer comments on here...I guess it all depends on where you live, but if you are in an area that doesnt have a lot of people that are doing raw, try an online community. I am not a member, but Bunny Berry here on Youtube seems to have a very supportive community. there is a ton of places online, hope it helps a bit :) is there a whole foods where you are?

  • Ya, I have sent them several messages and comments but they have never answered me. I live in Tampa Florida. I do have a health food store I shop at. My problem is doing it alone sucks. lol... I will keep looking and thx for the info..

  • this guy seems very reasonable. nope not 100%. i have no juicer and only a whimpy blender. and i eat 2 oz tuna every other day or so. ive lost 90 pounds since april 09. i hope to get a juicer or blender for christmas.

  • Tuna is full of Mercury . . I too used to be a lover of canned Tuna yet having my body full of Mercury and all the negative effects are not worth it. Please try to wean your self off the tuna. If you must eat a canned fish, sardines are a far safer bet from Mercury. Buy a Vitamix . . . after 3 of the cheap blenders break down, you wish you invested in a VitaMix. It is truly a power machine! I LOVE IT!

  • we are beyond poor. i know i need a vitamix and am saving for one. im using a borrowed blender now. i know about the tuna and will try to stop eating it. thanks

  • Look on Craigslist for a used Vitamix you may find one or a good juicer that way....so many people start and stop a raw food diet...maybe you can find a blender

  • thats a great idea. i checked in all of dfw area and only found ppl looking to buy. i will check weekly...thanks

  • what kind of juicer have you decided on Susan?

  • if i had my pick id buy a hurom...but id take anything at this point.
