Good attitude. The true value is in the joy it provides, not the speculation of monetary based on age and authenticity. It looks sharp and still works by the traditional wind up - acoustic reproductive method. The speed issue may be repairable though, might be worth checking that out.
The Jack Hylton record was recorded on June 19th, 1933. Somewhat common record, but your copy sounds fairly good.
But, I have to mention about this, Judging from the looks, it seems that your gramophone is not an authentic one - just a replica recently made in India. There were no original HMV gramophones that looked like that. You can check it out easily on the web.
And don't play the records with the tone arm still on the record. It wears the record out.
I'm not sure if that phonograph is an actual antique...
