Desert Eagles are fun at a firing range, but not much else. If you want a self defense handgun, go with a nice Glock in 9mm Para or something in 10mm Auto. Or my personal favorite, the TT-33 (7.62x25).

But hey, if you want something awesomely fun to play with at the range, the Desert Eagle is king.

Use a powder called Lil'gun. you'll get the biggest flame, more power, and use less than h110. its cleaner burning as well. i use it in my 50AE as well as 500 Smith and Wesoon Magnum.
