@noteslate1 I am not paid by Kitchen Aid or anyone else. I am simply a mom and wife who likes to bake and I enjoy using my Kitchen Aid mixer for baking cookies, cakes, and breads!
@yvonneisyvonne I am glad this helped you. It was the first time I made soft mall pretzels, but sometimes it helps to visually see the steps before deciding to make something like this, that is why I decided to film it. :)
A tip -->Just so its easier to work with. After you have shaped all your pretzels. Let them rise, then stick them in the freezer for 1 hour. Now it will be easier to dip the pretzels into your baking soda/water solution. Put them on your parchment and let sit for about 15 minutes so they are defrosted. Less difficult and you end up with pretty pretzels...Then bake! <3
you can just mix the baking soda and water together in a spray bottle, then spray the solution on top (i worked at a pretzel place in the mall one summer in high school) haha.
What brand is your mixer?

Thank you so much! All the recipe sites I've looked at are missing steps or not specific enough about certain things...

Awesome pretzels! Another tip is instead of freezing them, put the long rolled out pretzels into the baking soda water and then form the pretzels.
