I don't know how muslims in the USA act, but around here muslims girls are *very* concerned about touching a male. No sitting beside them, no shaking hands, some even avoid talking as much as possible.

I guess that's where the problems with sitting beside you in the bus comes from. Though you look much more liberal than people here in Israel, but people in the USA probably can't tell the difference.

Lol I like you I think if we knew each other we would be good friends. I don't know why some people are afraid or believe all the stereotypes of the world to the point that it affects them. Even though I am a Christian all of my family members are not and I try to learn more about other religions and truth be told I learned more about my own as well. I really didn't know about not eatting pork, beef, and thing under the sea without scales til I learned from a muslim that its in the Bible.

Veiling came from Christians and Jews...see Tallit...1Corinthians 11:4-16. The veil is not from the Koran...check for yourself.

I did research on Mecca and Koran...There is no holy cow in Genesis for Moses. 164 verses of Koran is to kill non-muslims. I will pray for you!

@hudna1 Yes, it may comes from the gospel and from the Torah, because Muslims believe that Allah send Moses and Jesus with these scriptures. And no, even the bible talk about the cow. Don't you remember the story of Moses when he left his ppl while they made a cow of gold and worshipped it? And the Quran doesn't say we should kill non-muslims. It's out of context. If it's really true, than there wouldn't be any non-muslims in this world! And I pray for you too.
