  • These work GREAT!

What they don't tell you is that you can hang a hub off of the dongle and connect all your toys in your entertainment center to the hub - thus giving them all wifi access through one dongle.

I have my TV, Boxee, BluRay, Tivo and Media-PC all going through one of these to a wireless-N router. Since we never really use more than one at a time, speeds are SCREAMING!

  • @dedicateddad CRAP!

    Forgot: XBox, PS3, WII too!

  • RON PAUL 2012! CONNECT WITH DIS!

  • connect using an "internet port"

  • ok my 2wire does not have a WPS and my Sony bravia says its connected but the netgear needs to be configured!!! how do I do this?? I hook up the netgear to my mac and the 2wire but my comp.does not show or recognize the netgear !!now what ??HELP

  • @freddyshanshan idiot....thats what you get for thinking different...

  • @freddyshanshan Borrow something that runs windows

this is the problem with macs

not allot of mac compatible products out there

mac lovers like to think its the other way round

" thats the problem with these products , they aint mac compatible."

  • is this another nightmare like the netgear ''push2tv'' i bought and it sits gathering dust! ???? for thesimple reason the advertisers did not make it clear that ''intel wireless display'' was needed on my laptop!!! is this another mistake waiting to happen?... please e-mail me with a solution? samson07@shaw.ca thanks

  • You could always just plugin a spare laptop with internet connection already to the TV using S-Video cable or anything else, you can turn laptop's screen off and remote desktop the laptop and use program such as VLC Player to watch stored movies/videos and use youtube, hulu, crackle, or any comparable website and display video in full screen.

  • @KnightChatX yeah but for most people these days in the modern world that's too complicated.all people want to do now is plug'nplay

  • will it work for xbox cuz im trying and im geting yellow and green lights

  • if you do get this setup how would or could you use a keyboard with this.

  • @yes350yes and make a wireless keyboard? NO! just buy a wireless keyboard

  • Will not work with Samsung TV's

  • misleading tittle you can only connect it if your HDTV is internet compatible

  • hi could i use this to just simply expand my network i have an office that has 3 pcs rather than getting a adapter for all my pcs could i just plug that into a 4 port ethernet switch and still have a half decent connection or wud i just be better off getting a router with client mode

  • or you can get a power over ethernet adapter and save cash.. IMO!!

  • si tengo un televisor lcd para funciones de internet como ago para conectarlo a internet de forma inalambrica

  • @willy14131 en este momento no creeo que eso sea posible, ademas usando el cable red/ethernet es mucho mejor.

  • quit calling it an internet port.

  • @iDontFinishAnyt Network Port!

  • so if theree is no WPS button on ur router than you can just hook it up by connect it from the computer or do u have to have a WPS button on ur router

  • @dameon410 Yes, simply connect the Adapter to your computer via Ethernet and USB; then launch a web browser and you will be able to configure the Adapter as a wireless client for your home network.

  • @EricGamer1 My web browser wont recognize the device

  • @satanisanerd117 That has happened to me as well. I would suggest you either close and re-open a couple times.

Let me know how that goes.

  • can you attach a gigabit switch to this? also, what is the max mbps?

  • my tv doesnt have the ethernet or usb port, but my comcast box thats connected to my tv has both of them would it work if i connect to my comcast cable box instead?

  • @affoidman123 Sure you can connect this device to your Comcast Set-Top Box. Any device that is internet Ready, or (has an Ethernet Port) is ready to be connected.

  • when i plug mine in nothing comes up (even when launching the browser)

  • @bleaksolaris Make sure you have a wireless network that you use for a PC or laptop. Then make sure that you have the power on to the device and the Ethernet is connected to a computer. If the browser does not take you there immediately, try it a couple more times for it to sync.

  • @EricGamer1 thanks m8.

i did get everything working in the end.i believe it was down to the latest firmware update (only guessing) when it check for an update itself it didnt find it,so i manually downloaded it from netgear.after that evertything worked seamlessly, great product works great on my sony hx803

  • @bleaksolaris Good to hear! Enjoy.

  • after 0:55 when u should choose your network I don't have any! could you help me? :)

  • @007BountyHunter007 Do you have a wireless router that you access using say your Laptop or Desktop PC? Are you seeing other Network names, say others that live around you? If you do have a router and have connected to you network then just make sure you are broadcasting your SSID "or your network name.

  • @EricGamer1 well i returned this item to the store.. but i did have 1 network but it didn't work but nvm :D still cool vid
