  • ironically i watch this on my iphone!

  • ben barber hahaah

  • Wow. Mr. Barber dropped his pants when he talked about bottled contra tap water. Bottled water isn't all that healthy but flouride is a cumulative poison which affects far more than teeth. Thanks for this involuntary revelation, Mr. Barber, now I know to fear your organisation.

  • Many fine points made by the speaker, and commercialism, involuntary slavery, imprinted needs and waste of resources are all very serious issues. However, the push towards highly centralized economic and political power (to the Rockefeller and Rothschild dynasties) will result in a tyranny beyond all imagination.

  • This book is excellently written. People who try to bad talk it are idiots, who apparently can not spell or form a complete sentence.

  • @kearyjones

    Did you mean 'bad-talk' and'cannot'?

  • So business and economics are the foundations of politics? If I'm not mistaken, politics is simply the process by which groups of people make decisions. Politics happens inside of every private enterprise, it's the base of any organization, public or private. It comes from the greek *Polis* for "city-state", which is ultimately based on the nuclear family unit - a social structure that is founded in mankind's higher nature (to nurture each other). Economics is a science, Politics is an ART.

  • I have had enough government intervention in life, I find whatever inequalities government tries to adjust, I get screwed, my family gets screwed....I wish government was made up of us, the people, but the more I look, the more these people are unlike anyone I know.

  • Read "Strong Democracy" by Benjamin Barber. If you don't like government intervention in your life, standing by on the sidelines and shaking your fists at it won't help. Neither will the wait-for-election-day-every-four-years-and-vote-for-the-Hero strategy.

Participatory Democracy is the only way to turn this around, and Benjamin Barber isn't saying that Strong Democracy is an ENDS to liberty, it's a MEANS to liberty.

  • THANK YOU For uploading this! And thank goodness for Benjamin Barber.

I hope this will FINALLY knock some sense into my Looting-Libertarian-Trustafarian-CivicSchizophrenic-brother-in-law :)

    Peace & Love <3

  • Great Upload, Thanks
