@MegaKiyoshi That might be true. But remember that in SF2 the game just because they fight doesn't mean they know each other on a personal level. SF2V tries to bring that together and build a background for each character. Otherwise you couldn't be ableto build a story.

@06RallyBlue Actually, SF2V is a very (VERY) different take on the events of Street Fighter 2. It combines a completely new pre SF1 back-story with an alternate depiction of SF2's happenings. That explains why no one knows each other (and why a good portion of the cast are still minors).
