Different series, different continuity. ALso I didn't get any vibe in X-2 between Nightcrawler and anyone.
In the comics Nightcrawler never hooks up with anyone, but in an alternate reality Nightcrawler and Scarlet witch had a kid (Nocturne), who got into the main comics through the Exiles.

nightcrawler's an awesome superhero. :) although i thought he and storm had a connection ever since the second movie he was in... D:
