Hugely increased risk of fumbles and turnovers. It only works at the end of games because the D is only trying to prevent them from getting to the end zone, if they attacked the ball carriers they could get turnovers more often.

Yes, the player who made the tackle was their free safety but the fact remains that Mike Hart had a wide open field in front of him and the entire Nebraska team ran right out in front of him, a player coming right off the sideline nearly ran over Hart while he had the ball, Nebraska coaches were seemingly chasing Ecker across the field, none of the Nebraska players or coaches even attempted to get off the field and out of the way, and yea Michigan would have destroyed Nebraska in 97'.
