@rafieqthebest Thank you for your comment and viewing our videos. I recommend the CT-H548A1 - compression tool, the LDT-596-250 - prep tool and the SLCU-6, compression connectors. These by far are the best selling tools and connectors we have to offer. Please visit ABItronixDirect com - thank you for Making the Connection!

I have a question. How will i be able to replace the cable wall outlet? not the faceplate, i mean the actual cable in the faceplate. The connector for that cable is messed up and i want to replace it. its a bit differenent since the connector is not the same
@mooiman9. Thanks for your question the best connector for it is the SLCU-6 It is the hottest connector we sale Check it out in our website abitronixdirect com search for SLCU-6 Compression Connector for RG6 Cable.Thank you and hope to hear from you soon. I am a budding ham... How would I connect a twisted pair for a random wire antenna to a RG 59? A demo would be helpful. I am trying to create a random wire kit.

@k2efg thank you for your question. If you can please call us at 973-584-7550 so that we might be able to better understand your application and make the best recommendation for you. THANK YOU and hope to hear from you soon.
1st, we recommend that you look at the labeling on the coaxial cable. Every cable has fine printing that will tell you the type of cable it is, it should say either RG6U or RG59U. Another way is if its a fairly new home and you have CATV/Satellite service, you have a very high % that RG6U was used. RG59U has not been used in most video home services in many yrs. Security applications still do have many RG59U applications. Good luck and pls let us know if you have any more questions.
Hi, what are the brands & model numbers of the grey & blue crimper tools used? Also is there any quality difference between gold & standard silver plated f-connectors on coaxial cables? Cheers.
@cleotine thank you for our comment. The most commonly used Coaxial Cable for any Satellite application is the RG6 QUAD SHIELD Coax Cable. Make sure to use a good RG6Q (quad shield) Compression Connector. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions!
@123medioerror - for security RG59U is still very commonly used. Use a good quality RG59 Compression Connector. Also, in many cases installers will run a cable that is RG59U-18/2. This is a siamese cable that carries the video over the coaxial cable (RG59U) and the power to the camera over an 18 AWG with 2 conductor cable. We have this on sale!
Thank you for posting your question! Good luck and share some pictures on our FACEBOOK FAN PAGE!!
@gpinci777 - I do not recommend using this cable for your video distribution. I know that belden has a RG62 and Teldor makes a similar RG062 coaxial cable that is 93ohm rated. If I am not mistaken I beleive this was used in older Antenna applications and not for Video Distrubition. If you need material please contact our office for RG6U (75Ohm cable) and connectors for it. Thank you (973) 584-7550
Very useful! Thanks much!
