  • sorry dude I'm not gonna super glue a pencil eraser to my gun. lol And I can't take anyone serious who pays omage to NutNFancy. LOL2X

  • I would be easy with the dry firing. Not good on the kel techs

  • I WOULD NEVER super glue a f*cking eraser onto my gun, I guess I'm just an HK guy.

  • @MrRichardsSmoker Its sad i know. I would not do this to any of my other guns. Its ok the the $200 kel-tec

  • @xxxM85xxx Good point, I guess if it helps, I honestly have had a ton of fun with cheap guns so I can't really knock them. I used to hate Kel Tec, me and my buddy bought a p-11 to mess around with and I kid you not, it literally shit out all of its spring the first time we fired it. lol BUT I do like the rmr-30 they are releasing.

  • @MrRichardsSmoker I have had several issue with this gun. I have a ruger sr9c for carry when its a colder and I can wear a coat and im getting a kahr cm9 soon.

  • The metal guide rod upgrade is a must-have. My P11 malfd on every mag with the plastic. It has never (as in not even once) malfd with the metal rod (blazer brass and WWB mostly).

The mag extension upgrades are also great, the P11 is so much more ergonomic when your pinky has a home.

I didn't love the belt clip accessory but I did like the pins that came with it to replace the crummy stock pins, beautiful black anodized steel with allen screw caps.

Now it's time to go eraser shopping.

  • Wow 2 safety checks. Yeah I would hate to be shot thru my computer.

  • @3rdshifted lol. Thats the #1 cause of deaths, AD thru a computer

  • thanks

  • do you know of any other "mods" that can be done to the trigger to make "not so heavy"... ??????? i love the gun i just hate the trigger

  • @6949albert I havnt done this but I have heard you can take the long spring out of the back of the mag well and heat it up with a torch so the spring wont be as strong and it will lessen the trigger pull. go to ktog and look under the p-11 section all kinds of good stuff

  • @xxxM85xxx Good way to destroy the tempering of the spring metal, and have your spring break at a bad time. Don't do it bro

  • @MrRichardsSmoker Hasnt cause me any issues but I agree messing with anything internal is not the best idea.

  • @6949albert First contact Kel Tec and see what pound trigger spring your gun has. Some models have a 10 pound spring. There is a replacement available that is 8.5 pounds. There is also something called the LeFrance trigger mod that supposedly helps a lot.

  • Great tip. Of course, Kel-Tec recommends you NOT dry fire the P-11.

  • @TJ347 I dont think its a big deal. I dont carry this gun or use it for home defense so if it breaks its no big deal. A firing pin from keltec is around 2 dollars if it dose go bad

  • @xxxM85xxx Good point, particularly about the cost of replacing the firing pin. I actually use the P-11 for EDC and already have the mod you mention installed. It's definitely a great help in improving accuracy at a distance, though I'm not expecting to be taking shots at distances greater than 20 feet at the most should I need to defend myself. Still, for the cost of an eraser you can hardly go wrong.

  • I like it. Some people don't understand the 15/16 lb trigger pull...it is hell. And it is hard to stage. The eraser what do a lot to help your accuracy instead of pulling or jerking at the last second.

  • Seems kind of silly to mod a gun, when you should instead be training on using it. That way you can pick up another and use it exact

  • I tried this mod and it works! I was lucky to hit anything before this mod, but I actually managed to hit the target today! Not where I was aiming but I hit something. I think I need to find a softer eraser, my finger got tired after about 20 rounds. Thanks for the tip.

  • My first thought was if its such an issue why didn't they put in the front of the manual where the warnings are? Well i sold the gun now ,but if i stiill had it and had a problem at least they have a lifetime warranty

  • Silentprotector90 is right in regards to dry firing the Keltec guns. Just check out there info section of their owners website (ktog.org). Keltec DOES NOT RECOMMEND DRY FIRING THEIR GUNS! They state that it WILL DAMAGE THE FIRING PIN. But by this time since the video was done some time ago, you have probably found this out by now. Keltec does recommend using snap caps if you insist on dry firing their guns.

  • @pecostx1951 : dry firing any gun can damage their firing pins, especually the spring by cauking it back and forth repeatedly.

  • @txturtlelytiger not understanding how the spring can be damaged by it going back and forth? It was designed to do this hundreds of thousands of times when its fired. So im not understanding how this would be much different just because a rounds not chambered

  • Kel Tec told me to never dry fire my .380. Design is different from most guns and will definately harm the fireing pin. Simple, call or email Kel Tec yourself and see what they say.

  • have dry fired my guns for years with no issues. Another one those internet rumors that aren't based on fact. Actually dryfiring is good to clear out the firing pin channel from any debris

  • @reesie0414 haha no. Kel-tec does not recommend dry fire and I'm pretty sure they know a thing or 2 about the guns they design. If you feel the need to dry fire your guns, fine. Just don't make youtube videos on why the gun sucks because it failed to function because you went against the manufacturers recommendations and broke it.

  • @mike802 i don't see anything in the manual that say it can't be dry fired. Where did you get your info from?

  • @reesie0414 What do you mean where do I get my info from? It's basic gun knowledge. Some guns can be dry fired, others can't. Firing pins are notorious for breaking when constantly dry fired.. You should buy some snap caps, they run $10-$15.

and oh you obviously didn't look well enough because it's on page 13 in the p11 manual.

  • @mike802 Ok i read page 13 and you were right. Keltec does advise against dry firing. So i was wrong you were right. Never really thought anything about dryfing this gun because all of the other hanguns i ever owned were capable of dry fing. My Fn five seven i currently own is single action and you have no choice but to dry fire it to uncock the internal hammer. So i know next time read all the [rint in the manual even if it may at first glance seem unimportant.

  • Keep drive firing it and ull be looking at a new firing pin

  • @SilentProtector90 Its not going to hurt the pin. You dont want to direfire 22s. btw it has a lifetime warranty so if I break it I get a new one for free.

  • @xxxM85xxx Kel-Tec specifically mentions not to dry fire the pistol in the manual. They dont list that on every gun IIRC. I would read up on it if I were you. :)

  • @JCP281 I have read the manual and never saw "do not dry fire" do you know what page its on?

  • @xxxM85xxx page 13. There are some accounts of this also on your comments page.

  • @JCP281 thank you for looking that up and thanks for watching.

  • @SilentProtector90

can you drive fire a gun???

  • @TheRJMortimer yes you can. Its just bad for some 22s. Watch vids from the pros and they recommend Dry Firing. you can always get dummy rounds if you want.

  • @TheRJMortimer

i sad drive not dry lol

  • @TheRJMortimer lol its ok man.

  • i smell new firing pin..LOL

  • @pentogram23 Nah. This is a centerfire.

  • @AngeredKabar you should really look at the mechanism before making that claim... just because its centerfire doesn't mean it wont damage by dry firing. i have the pf-9. and dry fire on that is a big no because of the firing pin stop screw...

  • bought a P11 with the eraser mod. I actually trimmed it down some because the eraser the owner had put on there was quite stiff and added more weight to the pull. Still a very nice and cheap way to eliminate Kel-Tec's mile of overtravel!

you may want to buy a arkansas stone from Midway and do some work. it made mine (an obviously well fired p11) much smoother. No percieved difference in pull weight but I don't have a pull scale either.

  • @minkis18 I polished everything with my dremel tool. A little polishing goes a long way... Thanks for the advice.

  • @minkis18 What's an arkansas stone?

  • I like it.
