Just keep your foot on the throttle and clutch, build up your revs, probably to or close to the redband, and drop the clutch!

your wheels will be spinning, then if its a front wheel drive car whack on the handbrake to stop the car moving. if its rear wheel drive, as soon as you've taken your foot off the clutch hit the brake...most of the braking done by your car is on the front wheels, so it will stop you moving... ;)

Rear wheel drive:

Automatic: shift 1st, brake, gas

Manual: 1st gear, clutch in, revs, drop clutch, hit brake

Front wheel drive is the same, just use the handbrake/emergency brake instead of footbrake.
