The last battle of the entire war was when the French attack on the British siege works at Cuddalore in 1783 was repelled with heavy losses and the Brits managed to capture the future French Marshall and King of Sweden Jean Bernadotte.

I sailed in Bahia Bay where the portuguese beat the Dutch in 1625. All Dutch ships sunk or captured. In 2009 I've sailed in Plata where British were beaten by Argentinean provincials abandoned by Spain in 1807.

Indeed, as a result of Saintes (make no mistake, many American sailors and soldiers were present for that battle) the war went all Britain's way after 1782. Between 1792 and 1815 99% of the fihgt was done on the continent against Prussia, Austrian Empire, Russian empire and in the midle east aginst the Ottoman Empire. Britain' s only decisive victory was Trafalgar which didn't end the war. Then at Waterloo there ws only 15% of British soldiers (including the Irish)
