As examples of true (historically correct) baroque style, these inventions have many non-conforming moments (in the harmonies, imitations, but especially part writing irregularities, which could never be mistaken for baroque music, or, let alone, Bach ;-) On the other hand, as modern takes on baroque gestures and forms - baroque-inspired inventions, if you wish - they are very enjoyable.

A very fresh piece worth to be recorded live in a studio, not this tacky artificial MIDI bank. Though, the ending sounds a bit cut. Maybe a mordent and a sudden major chord is expected in such Baroque. :D Just an opinion, do not take it seriously.
