for an ls1 Z28 the HP was i think 315-320hp and torque around 350. with LM1 you gain about 12-18hp but you loss some torque and back pressure. and K&N filter will get you like 5 hp.

But I have to say That todays muscle cars are faster and push much more horsepower then they did then. With that said the old ones were easier to work on and much better styled

Todays Stock GT mustang has 300hp with the limiter chip. Without, it clocks in at 340. The Shelby mustangs from today are around 375 Horsepower.

yea I got an 01 z28 w/ slp lm1, off road y pipe, and pacesetter longtubes wouldn't trade that noise for anything but a big cam added to it

Try Loudmouth II. You can check out my exhaust clip, I have SLP LM II on my 02 SS, and it sounds amazing without being invasive.

Todays Mustangs with a v-6 have 210 horsepower.
