You do know that MARRIAGE EQUALITY will be legal everywhere soon? Most young people are in favor for it, and we are just waiting for old bigots to die out.

i never said gay marriage harms me.where did you hear that???if it becomes legal.and honestly it most likely will be..in the eyes of god IT'S WRONG.but it's wrong for 14 year olds to have sex and have babies but it's not illeagal.and no i'm not sayin criminalize underage sex.IMO marriage is husband and wife!!!what the problem is??young people are more tolerant as times go on that's called EVOLUTION but young people or older folk aren't always right.

Whites ARE native to Africa. Did you know that the Pharaoh Ramesses the Great had red hair? Be careful about defining nationality upon skin colour. Whites did that in Apartheid South Africa. Nevertheless, it is irrelevant whether or not whites were "native" to Africa, since evolutionists have shown that we are ALL African natives. Talk sense, please.

Anyway, to get back to the point: Since you base your definition of nationality upon skin-colour, I am not surprised at your definition of marriage. Suffice it to say that black Africans deemed it appropriate to introduce gay marriage in South Africa, and to protect gays and lesbians through special legislation. They did this (thank you Thabo Mbeki) because they understood that diversity, not colonial uniformity, is the true nature of Africa. We are a patchwork of diverse cultures

Sorry to use the term "black people" but that is how we talk about race in South Africa. To say African American is very strange to white and black Africans, as the notion is absurd, since whites who were born in Africa are also Africans. You also don't seem to understand that by denying equality under law further stigmatises a loathed minority: it sends a negative message to the youth. It rationalises bigotry. Well, my family has been in South Africa for 300 years, which is longer than many black South Africans. Perhaps you should find out about our history - especially African migrations. In South Africa, I would be called "white". In Taiwan I am called an African. Most confusing. YOU would simply be called a foreigner, or "uitlander" (out-of-land-person), as your features are most un-South African (more northern). My business is in Taiwan, I spend six months every year here.

The Zulu's are not originally South African. The Khoi-San and Khoi-Khoi were the original inhabitants. The Zulus are one of many, many, many tribes in SA - and, yes, like several other all Nguni peoples, they invaded from the North. Zulus actually decimated the original inhabitants during the Mfecane invasions - our country's first genocide. By that definition, you are not actually American, because "whites" (and Asians, Indians, Malaysians etc) have been in Africa for over 300 years, and all of them have passports that call them African. You make a good point, but it is so strange to me how Nelson Mandela (THE black liberation advocate) made sure that gay marriage was written into the SA constitution) and yet blacks in America find it quite moral to suppress a minority. So sad that so many black men and women have not learned from history.

we (black people)are not supressing anyone.like said in the vid there are ways to get the same benefits as a married couple without gettin married.
