A favorite college professor of mine seemed to have a thing for this song, as he would use it as the soundtrack to videos he would put together for graduating seniors (until I suggested something else when it was my turn to graduate ...foolish me). He died young a couple of months ago and I still think about him a heck of a lot, and I just cannot separate this song from him. It's so incredibly fitting and makes me me choke up every time.

I was working in radio and raising my toddler and teenage sister (I was 26) when this song and movie came out. I remember taking my girls to see this movie and when the Madonna song started playing, at the end, Jen and I both started crying.  The three of us really have a bond and Jen and I had one of the best times of our whole lives back then. Christy was too young to remember but she had a lot of fun, too. Great memories of us: The Three Musketeers. ♥
