Maybe going a bit far calling him the most "brilliant conductor in the world" but he certainly is, in my opinion, one of the most gifted of the younger generation and if he continues at his current rate of excellence he has a great future ahead and will certainly end up as music director of one of the "elite" group of top world orchestras.
No disrespect to the RLPO with whom I sincerely hope he remains for many years to come.
