Why when i kill a enemy in arena mode in explode and i die!

I see videos and in the some videos the enemy's machine don't explode.

If the enemy had a gun of any kind, then it will explode if you kill it. This happens even if you've destroyed the gun.

Non-gun enemies don't explode.

@Mekose Right in the beginning, where the two guys argue about wich one you are to go with, you have to pick "Silent Rock". Rip open some worms without dying and you've got it!

I beat the story and grim mode never unlocked.

you unlock Grim mode in the first chapter of the story mode. In the first choice you have to make, one of the two options will say hard. That's the path you need to take to unlock Grim mode. If you've beaten the story, you'll have to recreate a new character and start over.

@kyh819 When you advance in the Story there is the pit. This is the weapon of the boss. When you kill him you need to catch the weapon.

He is talking about the red stone in his weapon, I think. The blood ruby that heals you. His actual weapon can just be bought from the store.

They only show up if you have the effects turned on. Set Core_FX=1 in your config.ini file, although older video cards will choke on all the bloom and such.

Yeah, there is a config file where you can set booleans ( true or false ) and some other graphical settings aswell.

Actually, all that you have to do to unlock Grim mode is to take the wormhunt option (hard) early on. That's from the very first "What happens after" that you encounter.

You'll have to play the game on another save to unlock grim mode.

Regarding using your weapons in a new save mode, that doesn't happen naturally in game, though I know that a lot of people edit the game file to do things like this.

Once you've unlocked Grim mode with another save, however, you can play it on your original file with all of the weapons. You get gems at the end of Grim mode. They are released from the boss along with coins, but you'll have to catch them.

Do you notices that 2nd and 3rd waves ended too quickly? It's a bug with bloodmeter - it's don't drain! :(( That's why it so easy - you did not fight against serious monsters. By the way - that big fast creature names "sophit" - you fight these in story mode.

yea the enemy firing bombs constantly gets extremely annoying in later levels.

I wish there was an option to disable the guns/bombs as the core gameplay is easily fun enough without it.
