  • I honestly have yet to see nor will i ever see a crestie that i think is hard on the eyes. Cresties are beautiful creatures. And i believe that the last one shown has the trait called phantom dalmatian where spots only appear when fired up.

  • and what does it mean when their underside not balls their whole belly go red

  • @funnypopbang I don't think anything... just part of firing up.

  • my geckos hands feel like silk and his/hers hands arent sticky just sucky all you can feel is silk textures hands

  • OMG! THEY'RE so cute!!!

Are their hands or paws or whatever sticky?

  • @judayxlo Not sticky in the usual sense of the word (like how a piece of tape feels), but the ridges on their toes help them grab on very easily. It's kind of a dry-feeling sort of sticky.

  • @stolenmilkcrate This is very dangerous. I just might buy some of these geckos. They're so adorable! ^^

I saw a couple of your other videos and I think the cream color on their back is really pretty too~

  • Cresties rock

  • My male Carmel Dalmatian crestie does not seem to get fired up

  • sorry i have another question if u dont mind)) Is it normal for cresties not to eat on there own? when i got my first one it wasent eating so i hand feed him,now i have two and both of them wait to be hand feed,is there a way i can get them eating on their own?ive tried to leave food in the tank they dident eat for 4 days in till i took them out and feed them individually))

  • @evapescene4life What are you feeding them?

  • @stolenmilkcrate repashy CGD.i tryed mixing it with banana but they still wont eat it own their own..(((

  • @evapescene4life Don't mix with anything but water. Is it cooler by you? Wintertime?

  • @stolenmilkcrate i dont think so,i try to keep my room worm for them,i wouldent say its cold no,could that be a reason-the temp in their tank?

  • @evapescene4life Light also has something to do with the geckos perceiving it as "winter time." If it's even a little cooler in your home now than it would be in summer, that's enough to make them eat less. You shouldn't be hand-feeding them though, 4 days is -not- a problem for these geckos as long as they're otherwise healthy. I only offer fresh food once every 3 days during the winter, and they don't always eat that. It is not an issue.

  • @stolenmilkcrate so sould i just leave food in hte tank and hope they eat it?now long can i leave cgd in the tank bfor it goes bad?

  • @evapescene4life like I said I feed fresh every 3rd night in the summer (every 2nd night spring-fall).

  • i was wondering how long does it take for a cecko to grow to its full size???

  • @evapescene4life Different for every gecko, depending on temps you keep them at and what you feed them. 1.5-2 yrs is average.

  • Which cresties are these? I recognize peaches and Enchilada(i think) but none of the others.

  • @RidingIsMahPassion Peaches, Flan, Dr Pepper, Raspberry, then some hatchlings i have sold

  • im thinking they are diffrent geckos cuz of one of em haz no tail and den all of a suddenly he does unless it took her for ever to film da vid

  • @nemoerrero what are you even talking about, yes they are all different geckos.

  • stolenmilkcrate u r cool

  • Wait i can change colors on my plain yellow gecko?

  • @G3CK0117 yellow geckos -usually- will be a paler shade of yellow in the day, darker/deeper shade of yellow at night.

  • Were is the tail at 1:39

  • what morph is the second male?

  • @eperviouskindt Gotta be honest, I don't keep up with the morph names, too many people argue about them endlessly and it makes me a little crazy. I just know what I like, don't care what it's called.

  • how old was your crested gecko here? thanks, please reply :D

  • @maddmaxx12345 You only have to hit reply once - it goes through the first time, I just have to approve it. I don't know what crestie you are talking about because there are a bunch in this video.

  • @stolenmilkcrate the very first one u showed. and sorry.

  • @maddmaxx12345 That's Peaches, he's an adult, I don't have an exact age on him though sorry

  • @Uzerx1 I'm sorry, I don't keep or raise crickets (they smell too awful and they are noisy) so I can't help you there :( I use roaches.

  • Wow! there some awesome colours!!

  • Beautiful cresties

  • nice video and nice crestie ;)

  • hey jb i love your vids i just have to questions if you could answer that would be great 1st when i try to pick up my gecko he makes a noise and runs away when i finally get him he lets me handle him any tips

2nd i noticed he wouldn't eat from his food bowl so now i had feed him i bought him a ledge elevated to feed from but sill nothing any thoughts

  • @LGgecko 1) It's a reptile - they will not "like" to be handled, they only tolerate it or not, so you need to take that into consideration. 2) How long have you had the gecko, what are you feeding it, and what was it eating before? It can take a little while to get adjusted (sometimes up to a few weeks) so just keep offering food every other night in the same spot and he will get the idea as long as he's healthy. Don't resort to hand-feeding unless a vet tells you you have to.

  • @stolenmilkcrate i got him on xmas eve and i have one of those magnet ledges should i use that or like a small cup on the bottom also i feed cgd i have offered live bugs but he shows no interest he was bought from a breeder he s a sub adult to adult he is 28 grams

  • @LGgecko As long as there are branches leading to near the magnet ledge he should be fine - just don't assume they will walk on glass to get to the ledge because it doesn't always work that way. Keep in mind that they don't eat a lot at a time, so I wouldn't offer more than 1/2 to 3/4 a tablespoon ever other night or so, and he probably won't even eat that much, may only take tiny licks.

  • Nice colors on that male that is why with cresteds you never really know what the gecko could be hidding I had one that started out a drab gray but is now a creamy color and when she is fired up she Is super amazing her dalmation spots pop out and her brown turns to a chocolate color and she looks amaizing

  • man, cant wait to see what raspberry and peaches come up with

  • @ameh78 You and me both! And next year Dr Pepper will have something to contribute as well...

  • they are so cute and tiny! I want to get one just nervous of my cat , niece (5) & nephew (7)

  • @boscoitalics Yah... if you don't have a room to close off to keep cats out, they're not a great idea :/

  • Ok, thanks anyways. :)

  • If you have a gecko and It is yellow and brown, kind of looking like a harley during the day sleepin, then at night It gets really red and orange. What morph do you think it is, a flame or haley?Or what please respond. :) thanks and beautiful Cresties!

  • @karaskritters100 If it looks like a harley, it's a harley... can't tell you anything other than that without pics!

  • Just Add Water! lol

  • Crested Geckos ARE awesome :)

  • My crestie looks ugly and brown when I hold him/her but when it's not fired up it's more of a yellow color
