I'm 33 and I've been following cycling since I was a kid and I love that fact that there are a lot more fans in the US thanks to Lance. If someone got into cycling because of what Lance has done, fantastic. It's a great sport. If someone has been into their whole lives and remembers Mercks and Hinault, awesome. pass on that love for the sport.

I'm not denying runners on other tours but when you see them running alongside its usually and awesome site, they scream and try to motivate their favorite cyclist or annoy the cyclist they hate. Yet these guys were running in front of the cyclist but behind the cameras. What the fuck is that all about? A man running next to the cyclist while holding his baby as if to pass, tifosi?no, idiot.

I agree indusrtial, Californians looked like complete tools. Organizers should have had barriers over the top. Most runners in other races actual run alongside their countrymen and cheer them on, not get in the way and look like complete jackasses. What can you expect from CA? Not much apparently.
