This trailer include every actions from all movie. The rest of that is just silence... You will write that it's beautiful story and he is so great actor or something...ok... but why the hell they make so cool trailer if the rest is slow and boring?

Anyone trashing this film is an idiot. Yeah, it's slow. Yeah, it's not action. Yeah, it doesn't have explosions all over the place. It's a piece of art. It is a fucking masterpiece in film-making. If you want explosions, you have come to the wrong place. This is a decent story, shot beautifully. Quite frankly anyone that disagrees is a moron.

you cant compare drive and fast and furious just because of the titles. Drive is more like a pulp-fiction styled crime action movie, with strong focus on cinematography (like all of refn's movies), while fast and furious is blockbuster action thriller movie. you just cant compare them, sorry.

This movie leaves a lot open to interpretation, the dialogue is fairly minimal so you really have to study the characters to figure them out. I think there's a lot of symbolism at work as well, for instance with the drivers scorpion jacket, I did a search to look for traits associated with the scorpion and found these: Transition Death/Dying Sex Control Solitary/Being Alone Treachery Passion Protection Defensiveness Do any of those fit the character? I think Drive deserves a re-watch

With the exception of the odd indie flick here & there, too few really good are made nowadays. The problem is that those kinds of movies rarely break even or turn a profit, let alone produce the mega-bucks that big studio execs demand. That's why I primarily watch movies from the 70's. I love the whole "New Hollywood" genre/era.

This movie is FREAKIN INCREDIBLE ... The SoundTrack Is Totally Hypnotic As Is The Video ... The Slow Mos .... The Actor's Very very Sparse dialogue .... The whole movie causes you to go inside. The first movie in years that I watched with my mom, who has a limited attention span in her older years, and she didn't talk or get up. And when it was over, she wanted to watch it again the next day. In the hands of another director, this would have been a mundane film. A Plus !

This film had a lot more potential. The acting is however, superb, from most of the cast members. The bad guys are utterly convincing, despite the surreal way the film moves along.

The acting saved this film. It's a strange art-house film that somehow got to mainstream audiences. Very slow moving in parts though. Totally not what most audience-goers are going to be expecting however.

Very Misleading trailer!!!

The movie however was a Fantastic Action-Drama. A film that respects writing, directing, acting and mood. Stunning Soundtrack as well.

Alot better than the typical Hollywood crap we've seen lately!

And for those who found the movie to be slow.... think again, and watch "The American" starring George Clooney, now that's a real slow flick.

Does anyone who has seen this film yet get where the music that is playing in the backround of Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligans first meeting together at her apartment is from. After he drops her groceries off, just after that when they start talking. It's not on the OST and it's really annoying. It features a few times throughout the movie when the two main characters are together if anyone else has noticed it. It has a kind of angelic holy vibe to it.

Finally, one very interesting movie.Director managed to keep the saspense from the very beginning to last scene.
