Where is this extra water coming from in this crackpot theory? I understand the simple concept of water displacement or redistribution, but this theory doesn't seem to think about where the extra water is coming from. Because all I'm seeing in this is land being consumed by water without a recession of water in any other area. If all of eastern Asia is flooded, somewhere else that once had water is going to be without it.

Whatever hick rumors you hear about California are based on shit TV shows or bullshit stories. I love Texas, and would move there in a heartbeat, flood or not. Many Californians are respectful and polite. Also, although you see basements from time to time, basements are rare in California because we don't have tornadoes to hide from or moonshine hide.
