Those dried-freeze ingredients are actually quite expensive, $4-5 each bottle. You're better off buying fresh onions & garlic which are way cheaper and taste better.
I wouldn't eat your falafel even if my life depended on it. I wouldn't want to eat anything you eat cause I wouldn't wanna my face to look like a water filled plastic bag
horrible. all dried stuff. you might as well go to your local restaurant and pay top dollar for crap. I find it hard to understand why people do this. I guess they are so used to their local restaurant crap and they want to duplicate it but buy? Your recipe is shameful. and looks horrible.
Honestly, you should try cooking with nothing but fresh ingredients. Freeze-dried onion and garlic? Why? Egg whites in a box? Bottled lemon juice? I don't mean to be a nag and I'm no sort of hippie but that can't be good on any level, either in taste of nutrition.
Hi, it looks like a good recipe and I will have to try it. I just wanted to add that the version that you made is not vegan because you used egg and sour cream at the end. It would be vegetarian. Vegans do not consume anything that comes from an animal.
Thanks for the recipe! You are the 2nd person I've seen talk about falafels, so ya know what that means.... I'm gonna have to make some and taste it for myself! :)
what fun experimenting! lentils are very high fiber.. lentils.. lentils.. where have i heard that before? :P glad u enjoyed ur cooking! this big mexican gal loves "cumin" too- so much that I didnt learn until a few years ago that cumin was the english word for "comino"! LOL duh..I'm like.. it calls for something called "cumin" but I only have comino!
