I've sat and watched all the songs that they performed and was dreading this one, Amber Benson had a beautifully unique voice and cringed at the acting but the minute she started singing I was like :O well bloody done! :) amazing choice and tbh I don't think it matters they are both bigger set girls at the end of the day they played their part well and filled the roll appropriately so why should it matter they are not as skinny as Willow or Tara? :)

Well done! This girl does have a good voice, she's actually got a better upper range than Amber Benson and fairly strong too. I've been a professional musician for nearly twenty years now and I've heard and seen many dreadful performances by amateurs, but this was a really good effort I thought. If I had to criticise anything it would be the drummer, he needs to seriously cut back on his use of cymbals and learn to accompany the music, not take a drum solo over the top of everything.

For not having a budget, I think it was a valiant performance. Quick questions, as I am trying to do something similar at my school, did you have live performers for the orchestration? I am assuming you bought the Script Book that has the score, (I am planning on getting it), is the orchestration large? I also hear that the Script Book does not have a score for the Mustard or Parking Ticket songs, how did you work around this?? Any advice for putting on this show would be appreciated!

Not very good. The singing is ok but that's about it.

Make some scenery. Children can make trees out of newspaper, so can you. Get a big roll of paper paint it green and you've got grass. It doesn't have to look great. but nothing looks like you didn't try.

Costumes: those outfits were meant to look good on the original actors, you have to adapt them for your body type. And the one who played tara needs to either wear a real corset or wear a push up bra with that. It looks awkward as is.

This shouldn't be compared to the original, it is something that was made out of love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I actually think that they were very brave to have a good. I also think that they've done a tremendous job. Way to return to the origional symbolism. By the point of this episode, magic was being used as a metaphore for drugs...but when Willow and Tera first got together, it was a metaphore for sex. The raising of the thing, a classic magic trick, in place of the much more sexual actions of the episode really brought me back to the origional symbolism of magic in their relationship. Good job!

I can see how the negative effects of the magics in the series could be read into that way if you wanted but the magic is important to the group as it is helpful quite often. Drugs really aren't ever helpful so I don't see how the metaphor stands up to the positive outcomes of magic?

Willow's magic addiction was set up to paralell a drug addiction. Some "drugs" now illegal were used by doctors and psychologists to get into a person's head and help them understand themselves and broaden their mind. Abuse of the drug is where things went wrong. But anyway, I still appreachate the return to the origional metaphor here.

well this was done by students in St Andrews too. it turned out much better. Better costumes, better scenery, better adaptation. I'v seen elementary school students put on better plays.
