  • Hi Shawn, Can you let me know what is the title of the next video/section that you mention in this video about the counterbalance with the rear end for leverage and maximum sling affect. By the way, I love your videos...I think you are the most awesome golf instructor.

    Thank you>

  • @natwong28

I would check out the following:

"Golf pro lesson catapult power" and "#1 most popular teacher on YT; arms and body" as well as "#1 most popular teacher on YT; stop crashing" Shawn

  • @natwong28 Thank you for the kind words Nat!

Also, come on over to the website for some exchanges on my forum; you will love the insight we have there and tons of guys and gals who are well versed in my videos and dvd! Shawn

  • I'm a skinny guy without much of a butt. Am I at a disadvantage because I don't have that big mass to move around?

  • Only with the ladies.

  • LOL!!!!

    No worries here Madcityscott!

Your instincts will use your body in the way that is needed!

    Shawn

  • I like this and it's funny too....butt, it still works!

  • so what are you trying to say>>

a huge bucket filled with boulders represents my posterior? LOL

  • Exactly!

  • LOL not fair, you must have seen my swing...only started 3 months ago. got loaded up with Ping Rature everything. Im 59yrs now, with wide shoulders, short arms, tight in the middle, and my left deltoid is killing me. took a vid of myself and am embarrased to play now. thanks to a 80 years young friend who pointed you out on you tube..I now understand why my muscle hurts and I believe your vids will get me where I want to go in golf..I love it too much to quit now. Thanks Tom

  • This analogy would imply pretty rigid arms in stead of free and without tension. Dont get that.

  • Think of it as toned; but it is not rigid or strained!

    I have a great analogy in the "Left Arm Straight?" video for you;

    Shawn

  • hows about the feeling of putting as much pressure through your right foot as you do through the ball, as a feeling for this?

helps keep that right foot flatter, and make a great sit-down move

  • That catapult looks an awful lot like iron Byron :)

  • Awesomwe stuff Shawn.I've studied the golf swing for many years and this is the first time I've heard this. You are extremely knowledgeable.

  • Oh, and by the way, 812ekoms is smoke218 backwards. You Tube wouldn't allow me to do it any other way.

  • The finish position should feel like the same finish as when you are bowling or tossing a soft ball underhand or when you are skipping a stone on water; left hip has cleared, left knee is still bent and feels very supportive and left ankle very solid in the ground. Shawn

  • Shawn, I'm having trouble with my left knee and ankle on the through-swing. After impact and the follow through, my left knee and ankle are still turned in as they were on the backswing. Contact with the ball is very good; however, I can't figure out how to straighten left knee and ankle at post impact.

  • Thanks for the great tip!
