@usmc6882 false, keyhole is caused by bullet hitting target sideways, overlapping shots produce the silhouette of an 8, or if you're really good there's only one hole, in which case you "threaded the needle" which is also an appropriate term for firing a bullet whose trajectory passes through several small openings in cover, i.e. if a bullet were to be fired out a window through a hole in a wall and then through a doorway.

Caused by inadequate rotational stabilization of the bullet, usually due to insufficient barrel twist or too low a velocity for the calibre. 2) An example of good shooting when successive shots are so close together as to form a 'keyhole' shaped group on the target.

@Iraqveteran8888 It doesn't necessarily mean it went through a target, a bad barrel or a bullet that is too long to stabilize in the firing rifle's twist rate can keyhole the first intended target without impacting anything on the way... a keyhole is just a bullet impacting sideways and leaving a target with what looks like a 'keyhole' lol

I found that using a paper hull works better as they seal in the chamber. The plastic hulls didn't seem to expand and seal as well as the Federal papers do. All loads preformed better.

@Solingen1000 i think they are a neutral crimp. I think it has to do with the barell alot. its a 28 in with a modified choke. I removed the choke, but it still spread out pretty badly. I may need to try it with my buddies stoger 18 inch

Goex BP #8. Goex and Black Dawg (and others) make all sorts of BP loads for Cowboy Action Shooting. BP shells work in any manual shotgun and some automatics. Usually they're lower pressure and have a smoother, softer recoil. Plastic wads play havoc with your bore, though BP tends to melt them, leaving a mess. :)
