I've looked everywhere, and I've found that nobody sells a DD-2, DD-5, or DD-6. It's only the DD-3, DD-7, and the DD-20. Could someone tell me why?

the dd-3 is versitle and basically the standard. The dd-7 is an upgrade upon the dd-5 and dd-6 so they pretty much became obsolete and the dd-20 is just the ultimate delay pedal

i used to oun a DD-3 but it wasn't really what i was looking for. plus it's really expencive

but the DD-5 is garbage i wouldn't recommend it

go for the dd-3 or dd-6. or if you can afford much more, dd-20. the dd-7 is just $60 short for the dd-20, yet the dd-20 has more features and indefinitely tweakable. gluck on your effects!

DD3's are actually quite amazing. Although they are limited by todays standards of multi-functionality, They use the same compressor/expander chips as an analog delay. Unlike the DD5, DD6 & DD7, the DD3 resamples the echo's each repeat, and has a unique quantizing element to the chip. The latter models merely regurgitate the same Bit samples for each and subsequent echo's. Thus, putting 2 DD3's in series (mono) you can generate some unique rhythm rides you cannot achieve any other way.

So what order would i connect, Distortion first and Delay first or what?
