best scoot i ever owned was the Vespa T5,why the fuck did piaggio stop making it ??? the best engine ever on a scooter,,my first Vespa was the old P50,then onto the PX variants in all i must have had 10 scoots,infact up in Scotland i still have the Vespa SS 90,i bot it as a project but wifes and bills put paid to that,saying that ave only about a grand away from it being,but i live in a differnt country now,,i may actually sell it the way it is!!! good condition,needs ALL nw cables!!! let me no!
A massive thank you cc1873cc,,,best days of our lives,i lost all my records in a house fire,but i did manage to grab 3 bands tonight a few weeks later,ya know its great to hear the kids come on here wishing they were part of it,ave got a great social life today,but those Mod days were special...ohhhh i love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning,i had 3 vinatge original scoots,i had the Lammy LD series 1,i never liked the saddle seats,then i had the Lammy Li series 2 125 cc(very poor scooter)
lucky you m8, i was only a nipper around the mod revival stuff so i had no chance of getting into pubs and stuff to see these bands, but im gonna start making a point of getting to these gigs these days that seem to be getting more frequent with these kind of bands getting together again, are we looking at another revival or has it never went away
cc1873cc Was a parker mod for 10 years (mod for life) and the day I gave the Parker up I went on a field made a big cross hung my parker up and watched it burn then walked in my suit and red white and blue bowlers to a pub, I was a lanky git when I was young so got in pubs or hid behind mates, think the gig was 83 or 84, it hasn't gone my friend, I meet young mods often when in the UK and as you know its become universal too, wonder where their Brighton or Margate weekenders are
used to get my bowlers shoes from a shop on argyll street in glasgow a wee shop called dees, my pride and joy was my black winkle picker boots with zipper up the side i think theyre still up the loft with my chelsea boots and some more stuff

im lucky that way my brothers gf has a catalogue she gets all sort of discounts off i have about 10 fred perry tops all diff colours, have a few ben sherman shirts but i get them of ebay, only shirt i have that was bought from a shop was my ben sherman oxford st orig and that was a xmas pressie, i usually just wear jeans now with my black denim jacket and trainers usually fred perry and ben sherman but i get them for my birthday and xmas of my brother lol,i wouldnt pay the kind of money they ask
