I can't listen to him--he goes off key (Boyz 2 Men didn't have autotune) and sounds 12, too nasal like Steve Urkel *trying* to sound like Seal. I have a strong hunch his album is going to be a fringe product, but that's the beauty of the industry TO the industry-the profit the INDUSTRY makes on each album sold is huge and the deal signed is very very often NOT a cash one (it's treated like a loan/lease and if they don't sell enough bam they owe the company money on most 1st albums!)

I don't think Simon understands r&b music and the history look at his criticism of Marcus. It is so easy to see Marcus has an old soul like some of the greatest r&b singers. No offense but it urks me how he wants to take a mediocre singer and market her as the next big thing when I dont see her as a threat to Beyonce or even Rihanna but Marcus has the potential to rule the r&b world no other r&b guy really has the heart and soul like he does when he performs.
