@SCRebelMetalHead1 Haha nothing I suppose if it came to that, although you have to admit Hartnell was a bit older than Peterson in the series;)
But you have to admit, it would be unecessary for him to have a wig if he had natural hair anyway, it's not exactly labeled what hair colour the Doctor must have.=P Anyway he didn't have a wig I saw now.;)
@sparrowcrazy: Yes, but the REASON Hartnell wore a wig is because he preferred to keep his own hair short (i.e. cut in a more military style). It wasn't because he was older.
At the peak of the 5th doctor's run, he was very popular. Davison's Doctor was the first Doctor I ever saw. -Well, I saw the Peter Cushing movies long before that... Anyway. I have seen every surviving episode that can be seen. And I actually from the first run of the show, prefer the third Doctor over all the rest. Followed by the 4th, then 5th. The rest is just a toss up.
Colin Baker got the shaft really, because JNT was a moron. The 6th Doctor had so much potential.
In the episode of the series where they end up at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe? The Dish of the Day is played by Peter Davison. He's freaking hillarious as he goes on about what parts of him they should eat.
I met her at Earls court during a sci-fi convention as she was their representing hitchikers guide to the galaxy,its strange to meet them when their older,greyer and a little frail,the bloke who was ford prefect was whizzing his tits off and could barely speak
SD used to come into the photographers I worked in, in Cobham, Surrey. She oftentimes bought prints of then husband Peter's publicity shots, and was utterly courteous and charming every time we saw her. For us, her voice became a natural extension of her genuinely sweet personality, and therefore attractive because of that.
My wife saw a man that *looked* like our neighbour's brother, whilst she was in Boots, in Guildford. She smiled in recognition, and the guy began to move towards her.. but as he got closer she realised it was NOT the man she thought, so she quickly averted her eyes and cut him dead!! It was only as she went out to the street that she realised she had snubbed Peter Davison, (poor chap), who was then at the peak of his popularity. No wonder he looked so cheesed!
@1088456bbfer Hohohahaha I read you comment and thought it can't be that bad and then she started speaking and I almost spit my tea out.XD It's like some voice from the simpsons.=P
I always thought they made a cute couple. Sandra just got married again and think they put part of wedding on tv. I guess you could say that this was Georiga's tv debut.
David tennant wanted to wade in that murky pool of shallow genes - good luck you'll need it.

"Most popular ever Doctor Who" ??
Don't get me wrong, I love Davison's Doctor, but the most popular?
And how does he put up with her all the time?

What?! He's not really blond...? Or has he just cut it so it looks different? I mean please tell me the Doctor isn't wearing a wig in the series.=P

@sparrowcrazy: What would be wrong with that? Hartnell did. . .

@SCRebelMetalHead1 Hahaha I didn't even notice that, lol, yeah I ment Davison, I don't know why I wrote Peterson.=P

@sparrowcrazy No, John Nathan-Turner made Davison bleach his hair on Dr. Who.

I think I would have lost it if one of the reporters asked if they could call the baby the Doctor's daughter.

The most popular EVER Doctor Who?!! Where's she been living?
sphereballs 2 years ago
@sphereballs
This is from well over a decade ago. At this point, Colin Baker was probably still the Doctor.
crabapple86 2 years ago
But she's saying that Peter Davison is more popular than Tom Baker! Seriously?

Okay. I'd always assumed Tom Baker was the most popular Doctor of the classic series

It's really a matter of preference. Mostly now a days, you almost can't turn around without bumping into a rabid David Tennant fan.

I thought her voice was put on - is that he real voice?
Aww Peter Davison looks adoreable! Surely he was on DW before All Things Great and Small?
Strangest interview - question paternity with a dog? Why are they reading cards?
imaof4 2 years ago
Yes, that is her real voice. She is probably best know as Trillian from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy TV series.
crabapple86 1 year ago
Didn't know that! Love Hitchhiker's Guide (read the series and saw the film ages ago). I remember Stephen Fry was the narrator ! ♥ ♥

@crabapple86 Peter is incredibly shy.

Look for "Dish of the Day" here on Youtube. You'll see Sandra as Trillian, and then of course Peter trying to talk them into eating him.

@crabapple86
I believe Sandra also voiced Trillian in the fourth and fifth radio series.

I have a PD story, as well...
