• I think they did a version of Nobody's fault but mine, a blues song from the 30's... But it's still very original in their style... ZEPPPELIN RULES!!!!!

• @strykr82 - They lifted a lot more than that!!! They had law suits out the wazoo!

• Can someone upload "bring it on" perfomance on rock in rio-Lisbon ?!! Was the best performance of bring it one by lenny kravitz, ever!!

• he cancelled here it kinda sucks :( but i love him live

• he's good but y not many videos

• if i could see more i would.but its hard to imagine a concert better than the concert he put on in london last week, i was there, and never have i seen such an aweosme concert, selfless musician who lets his band perform just as much as him

• Lenny fucking rules.. get over it (:

hes even better to see live (:

• If you think Lenny rules, you should see more concerts.

• u have never seen lenny kravitz live have u? so u cant judge, hes awesome, only artist ive seen get off stage and go around the arena and shake peoples hands and thank them for coming out. he doesn't need to see more concerts you just need to see lenny

• Let me ask you a question: do you think I would make such a comment if I didn't see Lk live? I saw him in in New York in 2002 and in 2005 opening for Aerosmith (where he was better than the first time I admit). His repertoire is formulaic and predictable. He's not a bad musician but far from a great one. I've see Prince, The Stones, Aerosmith, and U2 live. They wipe the floor with Lenny, even he'll admit that. So no, you and him need to see more concerts.

• you clearly have alot to do with your time.. sitin on youtube arguin.. who gives a fuck what youv seen.. it was my first ever concert nd i thot it fuckin ruled.. marlay park in august.. it blew me away.. tho in all fairness i wud kill ty c aerosmith and the stones.. anyway keep yer thots to yourself.. bye bye now

• "it was my first ever concert"

Yeah, thank you, you just proved my point.

And no, I am not going to keep my "thots" to myself. If I see something I disagree with I am going write something about it. If you don't like it, you don't have to reply.

A question, if I have alot to do with my time "sitin on youtube arguin", how much time do you have to reply to me?

• wow. argueing on youtube is the competing in the special olypics.

even if you win, you're still retarded.

• If you are going to write things like that shouldn't you at least know how to spell you mental peasant?

• man....i just wonder what u guys expect lenny kravitz to be. first of all, hes a really talented singer. whether this happens to be lip syncing or not, its still him. and yeah, it actually bothers me that hes never really gone about doing anything with those pretty V's he uses. im just trying to say that i think hes accomplishing something here....

and, by the way, no one should even attempt to compare him with Zeppelin. i mean, seriously does anyone compare???

• yeah but is craig overdubbed?

the guitarist i mean...hes really good

if you've heard good times bad times by led zeppelin, he gets really similar tone on the solo...

• To say that anyone sounds like Zeppelin is a compliment. However, Zeppelin were the biggest rip off artists on the planet and literally stole from many blues artists. So I hope no one thinks that Zeppelin was in any way original.

• Omg so not true:) bullshit dude

Led Zeppelin one of the greatest bands ever! Saying Zeppelin wasn't original and stole from blues artists, is just stupid:)

Lenny rules btw ^^

• Not only amd I old enough to know but you can easily check using your web browser. Zeppelin did indeed steal from blues artists and have been found guilty in a court of law and have also settled many lawsuits as well.

• Actually they were very original. Led Zeppelin did 'steal' a lot from the blues but created new, original and ground-breaking music. They are one of the most influential rock bands on the planet. Nothing is 100% original in popular music, every artist takes things from the past and tries to create something new. And no band did it better than the mighty Zeppelin.

• Come on now! Check the history and the people they had to settle with. I believe When The Levee Breaks was a song from around 1929 or something like that. They were a great band but they lifted a lot of material.

• Yep that's correct. When The Levee Breaks was a blues song by Memphis Minnie. Led Zeppelin took it and made it their own. However, they did actually give credit to Memphis Minnie on that song as well as crediting themselves. I admit a lot of their other songs should have given more credit to the original blues artists.

• Riffjunky you def. earned that thumbs down lol!

Great post even though the sound is low -

this song rules and so does Legend Lenny -10!

<33333

;-)

• LOL...HAHAHAHAHA....It cracks me up when people trash and hate on artists on YouTube....shut up and enjoy the music or else move on. Think about it, you're probably broke, they're not, they don't comment about you because they're busy being productive with their careers and doing their thing. Follow suit and stop the hate...It's time for a love revolution..rock on and make a difference today.

• that makes great sense. why watch an artist that you don't like?? it's not like youtube forces you to watch lenny. He's a great artist, great talent.

• Lenny is the closest modern thing to classic rock you're ever gonna find...it's fine if you - stupidly - don't like the music, but if you don't like that kinda sound you been trapped in a goddamn bubble for the last 1000 years. Recognize, people. LENNY IS DA SHIT!

• lenny rocks!

• I'm gonna face my demons Gonna tear them down I'm gonna keep on moving Gonna make my sound It's getting heavy But I'm ready To take on this world and rock steady So come on, bring it on Bring it on Oh bring it on Bring it on Oh bring it on
• i love lenny he is the best !!!!!

• i was there for the new years concert, right in front of him, he's amazing. hands down, the best rocker right now.

• i agree..i just got back from vegas a couple of days ago and seen him there...he gave band members a break for 5 each and while they were gone he played their instuments...amazing.

• LENNY IS THE BEST!!

• I know what you meant but I've watched and it appears too close to call for me..how can you tell?

• Not too close at all. He did the same thing for the AMAs (I'll Be Waiting) and New Years. The vocals are too 'dry' for live'. Total playback. Watch the New Years performance if you have it. He starts strumming in anticipation of the beginning of the song - easy to catch. I had them posted but had to pull them.

• I admit..I'm not tech savvy but had it explained to me by someone who is..I can't believe so many performances now are lip-synced..in this case is was because CBC wanted 5.1 and the time constraints don't allow for anything else...even the crowd noise was dubbed in here...amazing and sad...I learn something everyday.

• Here we go again. Ladies and gentlemen....it's NOT LIP SYNCING. The Broadcaster simply played the Original version of the song over top of Lenny's live version in Toronto.

Lenny of all people would NOT limp sync. The broadcaster, often times, wants the performance perfect so they overdub the performance with the actual song.

It's 8/10 not lip syncing but it looks that way in video form.

• hahaha you cock, thats such an blantent of putting someone else down because your jealous, hes not lip syncing at all, dont be ridiculous, you sound like your certain and you have an idea what your talking about, well you dont, WISE UP FUCKER!

• damnit hes bringing rock back!

• go lenny.. roughriders won the cup it was sure a hard game for them winnipeg gave us a hard fight but in the end the better team won!

• It just keeps getting better with Lenny, hope he comes to Toronto sometime soon.

• there's a bomb that will explode in the music scene very soon and it calls BRING IT ON !!

• booyaa!!

• Disapointed that they played American Women during a Major Canadian Sporintg Event keep it canadian. And I also relized that this was the first halftiem show without all the pyro. doesn't give it much exitment but it was inside there probobly wasn't enought room.

• Well actually by playing American Women they were in fact "keeping it Canadian" as the song was originally done by the Guess Who...a Canadian band.Furthermore,if it's pyro you're into...you should check out a Kiss concert...Lenny is about straight forward ol' school rock n roll...not fireworks... :)

• Wow I didn't know! You learn somthing new everyday. I am realted to Burton Cummings who was part of Guess Who and he never told me that. Awsome! U made my day!

• "Bring It On" gives off a kind of Hendrix-like vibe. This song is AWESOMMEE! a much needed face-lift from the 60's psychodelic rock.

• so.. c'mon ... bring it on!

♥ it!

• Love it when he rocks Sounds a lot like a Led Zep song

• rock on and go roughriders! XD

• Great....Just Great....Awesome!

• Yeah,it sounds better than other versions, as live should be. I love the hard rock since 1956, can't get enough of it. He fit the Grey Cup perfectly. Makes me want to finish my guitar invention(s) and rock on down the highway as it is so lit up like a percussion machine.

• Does anyone know the name of his new drummer? He replaced Cindy Blackmon, who was his touring drummer for years. I first saw the new drummer when I watched Kravitz perform at Live Earth earlier this year. I like dude's style of playing.

• His name is Franklin Vanderbilt. He seems too much like a precussionist to me. Very splashy hi-hat. There is no replacing Cindy in my book. I've seen hundreds of bands and no one hits the skins like her. I'm sure he's a great guy and all but I've seen much better.

• Yeah I would agree, I have also seen much better, but I do like that style of playing. However Cindy is irreplaceable in my books. Had a chance to meet her earlier this year at a drum clinic in Toronto. Awesome drummer, and a very nice lady!

• funny always had the idea that all of Lennys frummers pretty much sucked.. All hi-hat

• The song and the band rock harddddddd

Love the performance
