Demo isn't supposed to crash at that point.

The problem is your CPU being too fast for the TP generated code. So you could either run the demo in DosBox or ... if you wanna run the demo on your K6-3 fix the binary with a tiny patcher called TPPATCH.EXE

Yeah.. it sucks because I can't seem to avoid it. The demo was made to run on an i80486 processor, and maybe its running on an AMD causes that part to hang.

I'm too lazy to rebuild another DOS computer.

Well you could try finding a special DOS program that can slow down the frame rate, like Turbo Pascal.

And yes, DOS was frustrating because of IRQS and jumpers and all that crap. That's why I perfer Windows 9x over plain DOS. >P
