  • I was on his side until i heard the phone call. He should have been furious & pissed off.

  • i didnt know the first question -_-

  • Chris Tarrant clearly wasn't in on it, or else he'd be fined/jailed. It was the guy in the audience who kept coughing.

  • I think the host was in on it, either that or he didn't cheat.

  • @utuber3231

have you not just watched the first two parts you fucking Dick village!

  • @TheCurlyAssassin LOL its funny how u made some gay little youtube name "TheCurlyAssassin" and u actually get mad at comments. haha loser...

  • @utuber3231 'LOL' ........ twat........

  • Who wants to be a stealionaire??

    CHARLES INGRAM

    ME

  • And how is it fraud?, exactly can someone tell a direct integration of fraud and the relations of this case to fruad

  • served in bosnia?

one would think a man that saw anything about the life people had there during the war would have a different perspective of money and life and maybe not be so full of greed.

i doubt he was good at his job.

  • How did it just so happen that his wife knew all the answers? Did I miss something?

  • @loogle Using pagers amongst other people, possibly ones that had internet connection back at home, I think.

  • @Jennifer55260 Oh ok, thanks.

  • If you really didn't have a clue about any of the answers, then your chances of winning would be 1/4x1/4x...x1/4 (15 times). That is, 1/(4^15), or 1/1073741824. Fairly slim :)

  • hahah john taylor got "death on the nile" wrong, wtf else could he have put. theres the real fucking crime. oh dear, some bloke from the army took 1million from the multi-billion pound corporations. fucking popo

  • He obviously needs the money for buying new clothes, look at that hideous tshirt hes wearing!!! please give him the money!, Im just saying jeje

  • @juliooso LOL. xD

  • Comment removed

  • @juliooso i like his tshirt lol

  • @juliooso i like his tshirt lol

  • filthy bastards, they won 64 grand already then got on the show again and cheat more money

  • He didn't take his teeth apart the entire time. He talked through his teeth. That's all the evidence I need. Case dismissed.

  • What that guy says at 0:38 - I was gonna leave that comment on the last video! Greedy, greedy, greedy... They were already hanging by a thread due to Charles' bad acting...

  • WOW!!!! The 100 pound question is really hard.

  • Charles ingram used Koffing!

Koffing defeated the quiz and charles ingram won £1m!

What's this? Koffing evolved into Weezing!

    The audience is confused.

Charles lost a lot of money and respect.

    Charles whited out.

    ;)

  • @sephirothsoul999 Its super effective! XD

  • "do you want to play for a million?"

"is the pope catholic? hehehe.. he..."

    lol

  • to cheat they should have taken someone intelligent and with comedian skills what a noob

  • He doesn't look like an intelligent person at all, secondly he looks very unconfotable there on that sit, l just fell sorry for him, maybe he really needed money

  • Doesn't anyone else think there was an awful lot more to this scandal than just the coughing? How come nobody investigated how his wife and so many of his friends and family also appeared on the show? To me, that suggests that there was an insider involved as well, making sure they were the fastest finger even when they weren't.

  • When they phone him to say there have been irregularities, he even says "I refute that obviously" before they even say what the irregularities were!

  • What's Charles Ingram's favorite Pokemon?

    -Koffing

  • @SirGrodusFTW u used that gag 3 times, STFU

  • a googol, easy!

    wtf is a clothes horse?

  • @Timic83amv Maybe if you spent more time reading books rather than bark, you would know what a clothes horse is.

  • @ValiantVendetta it must be a british saying

  • @Timic83amv I'm Australian, not british. My country is further away from Britain than yours is.

  • @ValiantVendetta im australian too...

  • why the fk would u do that

  • I gotta say, even though he cheated, he's a genius for figuring out a way to bypass the system. Even though it was simple, it payed off. Well, at least until he got caught

  • I knew the answer to that easily wtf :L

  • There's just so mich we get to know about this here, at 1:39, Charles wins his Million and the Producer of Celedor calls Charles Ingram for the suspicions. At 2:42, the Ingrams' and Wittock get arrested. Finally, at 3:31, Chris says the moment of truth.

  • he'd say the answers individually, then if someone coughs\, its the ANSWER

  • Agatha Christie is such a good writer. I hope that other cheaters learn a thing or 2 from this Charles Ingram. Don't cheat or you will get beat, or if you're going to do it anyways, try not to make it obvious! I would've stopped so much sooner than the final question. However, cheating is out out of the question for me.

  • how did wittick get the answers

  • @893160007 He knew them, because he had a brain in his head.

  • It's impossible to guess your way to a million.. the odds are 1.073.741.824 to 1.. It can't be done..

  • @slowpols damn son how did you work that out? i would like to know its awesome

  • @Scorpian974 There are 15 questions, and 4 possible answers, right? so it's 4 times itself 15 times. That would be: 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 = 1,073,741,824

    There you go!

This is of course not calculating the help of the lifelines..

  • @slowpols you are 1 smart man

  • @slowpols your right of course, and Charles Ingram did it but he cheated, course you already knew that. it's amazing how you figured it out

  • greed, for lack of a better word, is good

  • I bet when he got off the phone with the Celador guy, he said to his wife: "DIANA, WE'VE BEEN CAUGHT!!!"

  • Just got greedy. Had he stopped at 250k, or perhaps even 500k, there's a damn good chance they would have gotten away with it.

  • Million dollar question was sooooo easy

  • @SachTard million POUND

  • @BackInAGiffy lol sorry m8 i live in london, just im used to saying millionaire dollar question

  • @SachTard its fine mate

  • hax

  • Lol at the subtitles. "Chris, Clothes Horse!"

  • Were they fined for 1M lol?

  • i know right....if he stopped at about 250grand he be set...why risk getting a mill if people gonna know the ovboius that u cheat

  • Would've pissed myself laughing if he got the first question wrong :p

  • who wants to lose all of their toes?

  • John Taylor got the fastest finger wrong. Haha. Nile on the death? The death on Nile? On the death Nile? Where do these people come from?

  • @davemacc904 To be fair, he could have pushed the wrong button in a rush.

  • @sec0ndevolution Yea, but to be fair it's funnier to think he is just stupid

  • GREED!

  • What a cunt

  • The £1M question wasn't easy because at the time Google (which of course gets its name from the Googol) didnt exist so people were less aware of it.

  • greed is a horrible thing

  • Clothes horse? The fuck are you Brits smoking?

  • 1:54 That is the point where he pooped a brick

  • hes so stupid.....he obviously doenst know how to act or make thigns blend in -.-

  • stupied man

  • shoulda stopped at 250,000.

  • It wasn't his acting that let him down, it was his SHIRT!!! Wore on BOTH days?!!!! Wtf? And the first question had to do with LAUNDRY!

  • On all these quiz shows, contestant selection is key. They don't really leave it to chance. They pretty much know ahead of time who has a serious shot at it, and who's likely to bomb in the early rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if the real reason they became suspicious of this guy is that he was doing a lot better than they expected him to....

  • assuming you can get to 1000 easily, the chance of guessing all the rest of the questions is about 2000 times more likely than winning the lottery. So I wouldn't say it's impossible.

  • the million pound question, is something if you know it, you know it, if you dont.. you dont...

But this guy is a FUCKING CHEAT.

  • what a muppet.. and the wife never once looked at the camers lol

  • his acting let him down

  • haha is the pope catholic!

  • i knew the 1 million question and im 15 but i knew it when i was 13.

  • every time i see shrinks or anyone say what they would expect someone who has been accused of something to respond...i wanna puke

    everyone is different

and the way they cheated was asinine

my god, kids dont even try that during tests anymore

  • I totally would've been fastest finger first...

  • How did wittock no all the answers?!?

  • on at least 2 he spoke to another contestant

not sure why that was allowed

  • @BleedOilerBlue I've always wondered that. Maybe he was wearing the beepers.

  • 99,999 views! :D

  • They should not allow the contestants to voice each answer. It's so obvious what was going on, especially since he was so verbally doubtful of his choices.

  • How greedy.

  • Charles Inbred

  • The coughing contestant must have been very clever as he seemed to know most of the answers.

  • He actually didnt cheat, the coughing man had a disease were he coughs when hes under stress, like, when his friend is about to lose alot of money at a question he knows the answer to.

  • Comment removed

  • @SQUEEZEDASQUID he never had a disease that was used under his testimony and his doctor openly said that wasn't true

  • fail. joke is fail

  • yeh just what i thought, why didnt he just go on it himself lol

  • he shudve stopped at 250k

    thats wt iwudve done.

  • supposedly if he stopped at 250k or 500k he owuld of got away with it but, like a lot of ppl , he got greedy and got caught because of it

tho when you watch it back even before that its so obvious something is going on i doubt he owuld have got away with it myself even if he stoped at 250k

  • Black watch?? Bit rascist

  • he cheated

    lol

  • Anyone else thinking that £1M question was quite easy?!

  • Yes lol

  • yeah, i think so too

  • Yeah, it was pretty easy, even I knew it and I'm hardly a genius :P

However, like they said, when you're under the pressure that the contestant are under, with all that money at stake, the camera crew, and the studio audience watching, it does make it alot harder. But that's still no excuse to scam people out of a million squids.

  • i reckon thats a sinch question!!!!!!!

  • @aampow me its for 100$ its way too easy

  • @aampow I thought the same thing. However Google, who's name is based on the word googol, wasn't as well known as it is today and thus the word and the meaning wasn't on everyone's mind (Charles hadn't even heard that word before at that point).

  • @aampow Well, I've known it since I was 8 years old.

  • @aampow Well, any question is easy if you know the answer.

  • @Wodenz Yeah ok thanks for that.

  • @aampow yes...

  • @aampow I remember when this episode aired on TV, my brother and were watching and yelling at him "YOU MORON, IT'S A GOOGOL!" We answered it before he'd even finished reading the question. I was about seven years old at the time.

  • @aampow yes, and in the United States this would be so easy

  • @aampow It's only easy if you know the answer. Looking at the questions I might have left at £125,000.

  • no he didnt he cheated what a dick though

  • Did Charles Ingram get any money from who want to be a millionaire after all they did use him in one of their shows?

  • @jellyboy123 I don't think they ever showed this episode outside of these specials talking about it.

  • Cheating fuck.

  • Hes so lame, such a bad lier.

  • "Oh Good Lord No"

What the fuck! If someone just told me I wouldnt be getting my 1 million then I would be like "WHAT?"

  • more like "your smoking crack, the fuck im not getting my million"

  • so how did evry1 else know the answers?

  • Because they used a pager system

  • haha hate to be john taylor

failed at fastest finger first lol

  • id love to see someone just take the 100 pounds and leave. haha xD

  • who's this Lawerence olivie guy?

  • He's a famous actor of the 20th century.

  • lol I never heard of a "clothes horse" and would have lifelined the very first question.

  • Love the phone call.

"Good Lord! I'm absolutely gobsmacked! Oh well thanks for calling goodbye!"

  • i bet his heart stopped when he got that phone call as soon as he said "we have suspicions" hahaah

  • Retterretter, I think having a million eight years later would still make you super rich.. Unless I'm living on a different planet than you or something =P

  • Honestly, I think If I worked on the show, before the 125 pound question I still would of been suspicious and kicked him off the show.

  • The Major still conspired to commit fraud regardless of whether he coughed or not

  • i would have stopped at about 100grand. if i were to cheat i would of played it better than this :p

  • @MOHInsider I think they were too greedy, cause it's too suspicious

  • @MOHInsider sure like? Telepthic minds? xd

  • @MOHInsider I would've guessed a few genuinely.. or at least confidently answered the quesion I thought I knew.

  • lmao what kind of a tool doesn't know the Normans would be speaking french? Coming from Denmark?!? french comes from latin, and english comes from french

  • HOW did the man coughing know all the answers????

  • He asked other people in the FFF Bay. That is explained in the Docu "Major Fraud".

  • the million question was easy

  • I think they gave him an easier question for the £1 million sum deliberately. I vaguely remember them saying that from watching "The Major Fraud".

  • Remember this is 8 years ago when a million meant you were super rich so not many people knew about a googel.

  • Tecwen Whittock And Diana Ingram Should have been arrested because Charles didnt cough. And Charles should be Innocent. But just return the money.

  • how on earth can u cheat?

  • keep watchin.. your on part 3 shouldve figured it out they already explained it.

    coughing signals

i hope he didnt get the money =@

  • i wouldnt even call him, he didnt win a million dollars...he stole a million dollars..he is OBVIOUSLY GUILTY. watch part 1 and 2 and ud know...

  • He didn't steal a million dollars. He stole a million pounds. Which rounds to about 1.8 million dollars

  • at 4:46 why doesn't tecwen whittock's name appear? as i understood he was one of the contestants later.

  • good point but Tecwen could of replaced Charles as a contestant, Only Way i could think off

  • He was on the night after that episode.

  • He probably didn't try, increasing the chance of that twat of getting in the seat.

  • As the show's management production guy said that if he had only quit at maybe the 125,000 level, they may not have put two and two together. Many people are just too greedy to stop which in turn gets them in trouble.

  • exactly, if he stopped earlier he would have gotten away.

  • so he didnt get to keep the money?

  • lol so stupid ive never heared of it before im postive its correct lol

  • IRONY him saying "if i can walk away and hold my head up high" rofl

  • i got touched by a guy called John Taylor when i was a kid so good that he never got it lol

  • odds of doing it by quessing em all 15 = 0.25^15 right? wich is 0.00000009313225746%

  • @watertaco

Right, a little less than one in 10^9.

Check out the story of Michael Larson of the game show "Press your Luck". He discovered that the rapidly changing random gameboard actually followed one of a handful of patterns. He hit a "whammy" on his first turn but then got his timing right and played 45 consecutive times without hitting a "whammy" again. The odds would have been something like (0.75?)^45, about one in 400,000.

Larson kept his winnings as he did not technically cheat.

  • yeah pretty much lol

  • well first few are easy then theres 50/50 phone a friend;.... but i get ur piont :)

  • but u have to consider the lifelines such as 50/50 that may narrow one question down to .5

  • why dont they say is that your final answer?

  • i knew that million pound question

when it got over 500.000 quid it was obvious he cheated using coffing coz there was a clear pattern

  • that was the million dollar question? wtf easy..

  • How can you say in theory yes but in reality never ever no. That makes no sense.

  • because theoretically someone COULD do it, but in reality nobody WOULD because there is such a great risk in getting it rong

  • yeah i see what you mean you are saying nobody would risk the gamble.

  • its so weird that i keep bumping into you. first i see you on the essex murders videos, then castle of illusion ones, then gamesmaster ones and now this, fucking weird or what?

  • lol great mind mate great minds....................or is it we are so sad we spend too long on you tube haha

  • probably the latter lol

  • He could have fiddled it if he was not too greedy, what a muppet.
