The top comment people have it right. The only predictable difference between Klungo 1, 2, and 3 is that the later Klungos will attempt to predict your movements and throw yellow potions in your current path instead of at your current position. You see though in the vid that you can fool the Klungo 2/3 AI by running in circles in place.

he's not even the boss of the level. He's just an easy warmup for the tower of tragedy and the incredibly hard Hag 1.

Klungo 1 is a warmup for the whole game, and Klungo 2 is just a test to see if you can put up a fight (since bosses aren't mandatory).

Why does he always say he's working on new potion but its always the same 3 techniques he uses?

Because He only uses one potion per fight(save for yellow). The potions are generated at random,so the video creator can show a walkthrough for each potion type. The first fight he could use any potion. Then in the second fight, he'll use a potion besides the one in fight 1. In fight 3, he'll use the remaining potion. Make sense?
