  • if they had done somthing like the whole storyline was a joke of itself or somthing, then MAYBE it would be good, its just that they tried to have it be serious.

  • When doing a Mastermind puzzle was a 'password' and 'hacking,' I laughed.

    When Marcello ran in circles yelling, "YOU AIN'T EATIN' ME," at a zombie two feet away that just stood watching, I cried.

    When Lana took 10 seconds to push a box and a zombie waited patiently and only attacked her when she let go of the box, I peed myself.

    Truly, a game that hits the three cardinal emotions that works of art should.

  • 3:24 Looks like Amy drew a pic of what SGF will do if he plays any more terrible zombie related XBLA or XBLIG games.

  • I can't tell if this apocalypse thing is supposed to have happened a couple hours ago or a couple months ago. Marcello seems pretty surprised and frightened by everything that's going on, but he's pretty familiar and okay with this "infection" and what-not.

  • It's... it's like the bad movement and camera of early RE games combined with the bad combat of early Silent Hill. Have these people played a survival horror game since the 90s?

  • I slept through the middle of the video. Sleep-deprivation. Usually I go back and watch videos again, so I know what's going on but, blech. I just don't think I missed much. The beginning and the end were so drab.

  • The main thing about undead are their strengths and weaknesses.

    If you have fire/silver/Cure/blunt, you're fine. Even liches have the weaknesses. Real-living monsters can surprise you.

    So undeads don't need to breathe. OK. That's a pretty big deal in the water. What are they doing to be scary on the streets? Ventriloquism?

    Most of them don't need sleep. OK, so they can get me at night, like Gollum. How will they scare me if they only show up during work hours?

  • Yeah...the setup with the girl looked interesting, and the graphics are okay, but once the gameplay started it didn't really seem to have too much to distinguish it from other games of its type.

    I was actually hoping that the game would be about this little girl with psychic powers being hunted down by a corrupt government agency, as you could have had some very interesting encounters there.

  • You know what I think would've been way more interesting? You play as Amy instead. She's probably the only interesting character in this (from the demo, at least).

  • I don't understand the "follow Marcellus, he's an escape artist" hint in the loading screen. The game is basically lying to the player.

  • My god, this is the most depressing looking game ever. As in, it's depressing that people are still using the same old tired gaming cliches sincerely and are still using bad game mechanics that are almost twenty years old.

  • This game certainly achieves creepy and unsettling. Just in all the wrong ways. Ways like "voice acting."

  • Zombies not being scary anymore is why I love the Dead Rising series, they KNOW Zombies aren't scary anymore so they don't even try and pretend you are supposed to be afraid. They don't try and be Horror Games, they just want you to have fun slaughtering as many Zombies in as many unique ways you can.

  • After seeing IGN's review of this game, I was curious to see your playthrough of the demo. You didn't disappoint. You had me in stitches every now and again.

  • Every complaint I'm hearing reminds me of what I thought of Resident Evil 1 & 2. When they were new even. A shame.

  • The demo is pretty much good for one thing, and one thing only. Amy has the greatest facial expression everytime Lana praises her. It's just you actually have to play the game to see it.

  • So in the future self medication is comprized of injecting multiple needles filled with strange liquids into your neck. And DNA can be scaned with star trek lazer pointers in order to open locks.

  • This is the start of the real full game. And yeah, Darksydephil played this and got to chapter 4 and quit. It's the slowest paced game i've seen.

  • I think zombies are the new Nazis, just a convenient way to have loads and loads of enemies that people can murder in horrible ways without any ethical concerns or controversy being raised.

  • Man I've got headphones on, and for some weird reason all the characters only speak out of one speaker. Supergreatfriend's fine and so's all the ambient sound but the people are off.

  • Looks and sounds like a really bad port of Condemned. Unless you can command, "Amy, keys!" it doesn't seem like there's much to look forward to, especially when Marcello's taxi is called the ExpositionMobile. That AI is amusing, though. "Yargh! I'm gonna eatcha. Oh, you're moving boxes? I'll wait," as Marcello pushes a pull door.

  • @futonrevolution This game does not need a young girl ripping some guy(zombie or not) throat out with her teeth.

  • @creatorofGandP This game sure needs something, though. Amy runs even slower than the demo's pacing and the companion-based platform puzzle involves dragging her to the hotspot, praising her like she's a puppy, and having to physically drag her off of the hotspot when the puzzle's over. Being scared and horrified by the girl you're protecting is a step up from "me am artistic, therefore me have super-duper brain powers and excuse to not have spoken lines or good AI"

  • It was very kind of that zombie near the end to wait for you to move the crate before killing you.

  • Hahaha! I do like your critical assessments because they're usually spot on. I'm waiting for a game that blends cutting edge scientific thought with horror, much in the way H.P. Lovecraft did in his time in his later works. Since super string theory evades common understanding it'd be ripe for some cosmic horror.
