  • @ukmama2007 Unfortunately, she did not write matzah (מצה); she wrote מצח, which means forehead. I don't buy it that her board wasn't working. The first two letters were written perfectly, as were the english ones. Jews do not eat forehead on Passover...

  • @dvlfin26 She was ten year old, is English and tried her best - sorry her small spelling mistake in a language she learn't at school was not good enough for you and that she did not stop and think before she wrote on a TV stage - I suppose she should have known better at 10 years old

  • THIS SHOW IS SO DUMB I BET THEM 10 YEAR OLDS EITHER KNOW THE ANSWER ON THEIR LIKE THE ONLY GROUP OF 10 YEAR OLDS IN THE WHOLE UK SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THIS AT THAT AGE LOL.

  • shes hilarous :') "*rolls eyes* Im jewish!

  • did she really write in Hebrew? someone needs to slap her. nobody likes a showoff.

    oh she Jewish, never mind.

  • Your video got posted on Ynet!! (look on ynet for "Top 5 Passover videos")

  • Now there's a Jewish girl to be proud of!

  • I just put it on my Facebook page! Hag Sameach, Lisa, v'mishpechah!

  • She wrote in cursive hebrew, and she spelled מצה wrong. The English right the Hebrew wrong

  • Lisa hugged her after all that. Children are so much more loving!

  • She wrote it wrong in hebrew

  • look to the right, "I'm Jewish."

    !כל הכבוד מתוקה

  • look to the right, "I'm Jewish."

    !כל הכבוד מתוקה

  • silly goyim

  • That was really cool!

  • hi Lisa its joe

from hospital . thought that i would try and find the video you and ur mum were on about. good on ya. do u hav facebook??

  • lol what happen to her face?

  • @Icemage3600able Lisa has a birthmark on her face which she has had since birth. She purposely did not want it covered to enable public awareness so I hope this answers your question when "lol" is probably not that appropriate

  • @ukmama2007 yh u r right my bad soz

  • @ukmama2007 LOLOLOL

Seriously, why would she raise awareness for birthmarks. They're not illneses.

  • did she say she thought it was a cracker?! what does she think a cracker is if not unleavened bread?!

  • This show is has been UTTERLY destroyed by getting Noel Edmunds to host it

    a very very bad idea.

thats the end of me watching it anyhow

  • @sweetypie000 - Noel has hosted it since the beginning. He does the main show, DIck and Dom used to host the daytime version.

  • @daichi2097 really ? damn, I still don't like Noel hosting it lol

  • @sweetypie000 - heh, yeah, I know what you mean. Do you watch it on Sky3? I think they've only recently started showing Noel's version on that channel - it was only on Sky One before.

  • one of my classmates name johhny is on this :D

  • @DJZOMBIEify stfu coure he is... -.-

  • @Skinnyboomer wats your problem

  • India copies every single American and British television series. No innovation, no creativity, just brains to memorize textbooks and blurt it out without any idea of what the information is. So, we just copy everyone else when it comes to good ideas.

  • LOL I used to love Dick and Dom... actually, I still do :P

(And for the people wondering why two guys are hosting it instead of one, it's because they're a double act).

That woman is so stupid! I laughed so much when Lisa went "I'm Jewish..."

  • idiot, if she knows the hebrew word for it, shes obviously right.

  • idot

  • cute!

  • Bless my little cousin on this video..... love it :o)

  • lol are you smarter than a 10 year old, are you smarter than a fifth grader? oh wow lol

  • lol this is so funny im jewish lol. i can clearly see that she spelled it wrong but the woman said it was correct. lol

  • @MrSnoopz2009

You shouldn't call people stupid when you don't know how to write a correct grammatical sentence. Trust me, it doesn't look good.

  • Thats such an easy question and where does that woman think she picked up Hebrew from??? lol very funny x

  • Comment removed

  • LOL , this is really funny

  • Woman: Not that confident

    Lisa: Im Jewish

    Woman: Oh!!

  • Don't you have many Jews in the UK? I can't even imagine this even being a game show question in the US.

  • @shoredude2 Oh, you can't? Try video v=5-0JWnkQ8Cw&#t=19s 80% of American Jews in the US live in only 10 different states. Most Americans encounter Jews, rarely, if at all, which is one of the reasons there is still so much anti-semitism out there.

  • No, she picked up a bit of Hebrew off the vicar at Sunday School - she's telling you she's Jewish you stupid bitch.

  • OMG, I'm gunna be on this!!!! I'm off for filming with my friends at London in August 2009!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED LOL!!! My friend applied and she got through all the auditions and chose ME to be on it with her!!!!!! She's so kind...

  • i'm jewish :)

  • Very interesting video

  • why did she say i am jewish and they all laughed

  • Because it was talking about what did jewish people eat at passover or whatever and the lady didnt believe that the girls answer was right, but shes JEWISH so i think she would know lol

  • :-)

    What a cute girl!

but she wrote mezach, which actually means 'forehed'

  • i got confused over charoset lol got it before she did though

  • OMG!!! what an idiot o a woman stick it to her lisa!! yeah

  • Okay, so she got the answer right, but the hebrew spelling is wrong. She wrote a chet and not a hay.

  • Yeah, I noticed that.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • like how couldent the woman see that tthe answer was "matzoh"

  • this is why theres antisemitism in the uk. do the british know NOTHING about us?!

  • wow this lady is so smart. even i know this! jeez

  • why are two guys hosting the show?

  • They're a double act.

  • this show is copy of indian show

(kya aap panchwen pass se taze han)

    where srk was the host

    search it to .......

  • Actually, the original is the American version called "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader", which started February 27, 2007. The Indian version "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" didn't start until April 25, 2008.

  • The ignorance of some people...

  • For the millioneth time she knows she spelt the hebew version wrong but in front of a live audience and the hurry to finish she put chet instead of hay - give the girl a break!!

  • She misspelled the Hebrew word for Matzah. she wrote Matzach

  • since when do they teach 7 year olds this? i'm in 6th form and have just learnt about judaism.

  • i know lol. but then again she is jewish, so its kind of unfair.

  • "I'm Jewish"!!!!

    LOL

  • This is the english verson.... e..e

This ones called are you smarter then a ten year old.

Some times, ant and dec.. host it.. or sommin r..r

I watch it on t.v.. when I get bored

It's shity.. compaired to american one.

  • this is the UK's version

  • Dick head this is a UK version

  • she spelled it matzach...but its cute :)

  • she speeld it wrong

its מצה not מצח aldouh the leter are simuler

  • i dont think you can talk about spelling,

    "speeld"

    i think you mean spelt

  • i also think he meant although and similar.

  • Comment removed

  • omg no offence dont give me thumbs down but i find this show really boring and linear and its not very original anymore

  • =0 cheat!! she's jewish lmao!!

  • lol 'im jewish' haha

  • Oh shit, they were two guys... I didnt even noticed... what a bad taste in dressing... O_o

  • What the fuck happens at the guy's shirt at 2'51??? Does it change color??

How the fuck in hell does this happen, somebody explain this to me please!

  • Skeen.. U Americans Dont NO JACK.

Are U Smarter Than a 5th Grader Is US Version

    A.K.A (Crap)

ARE U SMARTER THAN A 10 YEAR OLD OWNS.

  • Erm.. I think you mean, dont 'know' jack. Kinda ruined your argument there.. That said, I love the UK version. Dick and Dom are miles better than Edmonds.

  • she spelt it wrong in Hebrew....

  • ya she wrote a chet instead of a hay lol but the lady didn't know that! for her, this girl wrote it in HEBREW!! lololol

  • First of all, not all Jewish people live in Israel. 2nd, the girl spelled matzah wrong in hebrew!but there was definitley a stereotype.

  • she is only 10 jeezz

  • Hahaha, she's not dumb! She's just too shocked I guess!

  • isnt it called are you smarter then a 5th grader

  • were not stupid yanks this is a british better one.

  • Err who wrote this program?!

That jewish people eat AT passover.

It's like saying The meat that people who celebrate chirstmas eat AT Christmas.

And acutally it's not hebrew its ivrit.

  • "...eat AT passover" is correct, just as people do not do things "ON Christmas", but "AT Christmas" unless it's "ON Christmas morning" etc.

Perhaps American English is different, as there's been a few comments about this, but remember this is a British programme.

  • That wasn't a really difficult question....

  • she spelled matzoh incorrectly in hebrew

  • HAHAHAhHHAHAHa

    her "I"M JEWISH" killed me!!

and she didn't say "all". she's just a super smart 10 year old!!!!!

  • soooo fucking dumb!!

  • Lmao that lady is pretty dumb.

  • "I'm jewish"

  • The US usually take all the UKs game shows (Millionaire, Weakest Link, Deal or No Deal),it's about time we stole one from them. It's a shame those two fucking idiots are presenting the UK version though, the US one is a much better because they have an actual professional presenter, not 2 dickheads.

  • There is also Noel Edmonds on the primetime.

  • firstly, this is quite an old episode, now its just Noel Edmonds as 'thepiggydoes' mentioned.

secondly, deal or no deal is actually Dutch (and so's Big Brother if anyone cares)

  • Interesting. If this kid's religion class taught her that all Jewish people live in Israel, how do they get around the fact that she lives in the UK? Also, the US version doesn't really encourage the kids to chat about their answer after they've locked in. They've all been trained to have a poker face...

  • she didn't say "all" Jewish people live in Israel. She just said "Jewish people live in Israel".

  • Ok, and that sounds like a general statement to me. Does the word 'all' really make that much difference in that sentence?

  • please nevmiles, since I'm not american or english, could you explain me that thing?

  • shit programme

  • She wrote it with a 'cheth', and it should be with a 'hey'. So actually she wrote: Matsach

  • Nicsx7 is right!!

  • this is soooooooooooo funny

  • this program is silly. surely even if you win, you are not smarter than a 10 year old because they have been helping you the whole way..?!also, remembering facts is not being smart.. any idiot could memorise facts.

  • i can write in hebrew script and print

  • its called block

  • i can read and right in hebrew nearly fluently in hebrew and im from the us, im jewish, but she spelled matzah wrong in hebrew, she spelled it with a taph not a hay

  • I think that was an aleph... Anyway she

    did spell it wrong...

  • oh,maybe

  • Chet actually

  • no she wrote it in script and that's a ches, chet watev in script. either way it's not a hay =)

  • "im jewish." ahahaha.

thank the lorddddd that passovers over! yay bread! ;]

    thanks. this was cute.

  • Did you run out and buy pizza... I know i did lol

  • what would you do with seven and a half thousand pounds of matzah?!

  • please tell me youre kidding. its the currency there. pounds in the uk is like dollars in the us.

  • yes i am kidding :D

  • haha. okay. just making sure. :]

  • *Giggles* Bless you. The comedy stick missed you on passing didn't it ;)

  • If I know what matzah is, do I win seven and a half thousand pounds?

  • I love this show! what really gets me is how freakishly clever those kids are...they never seem 2 get anythn wrong. and they are all so young. they cant possibly know that much.

  • I think they get clues as to what the questions will be about.

Just to make the adults look a bit dumb.

  • Yeah. Alot of the stuff are things no seven year olds are taught in school.

  • "... I'm Jewish." LOL

  • Forget about the young girl spelling a word wrong,

How about, the grown-ups that wrote the question; they made an awful grammar mistake:

They wrote "... eat AT passover", rather than "eat ON passover"

It's like saying "We gave fruitcakes AT x-mas"...

  • lol she wrote "metzach" which means forehead. Still a good one though.

  • she could have meant a "rashi" aleph

  • on second thought that would still be wrong

  • your right

  • Ha!! the JEWISH GIRL SPELLED IT WRONG in hebrew!!!(only the last letter) But to her credit it is close, its like writing a capital E instead of Capital F. but way to go girl!!!

  • You can tell from the way that Lisa said it that she was Jewish.

  • hahhaahahahhahahahahha she wrote it in hebrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wtf!

  • hahhaahahahhahahahahha she wrote it in hebrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wtf!

  • My favorite line was, "I thought it was a savory wafer" What an idiot! :)

  • hahahahahaha

    "im jewish"

  • This is great, lisa ur lovely.

    CHAG SUMACH.

    hehe im jewish too.

THIS WOMAN IS SOOOOOOOOOO STUPIDLY DUMB!!!

SHE WROTE IT IN FRIGGING HEBREW!!! LIKE WTF

  • im jewish to Shalom

  • omg there is another show in the USA even the apple in the logo is on Are You Smarter Than a fifth grader

wow usa annd uk are connected....

tzzzzt! tzzzt! buzzt! its alive! i call it the

    U.S.K

  • Yah, but if you listen to the theme song. It says are you smarter than a ten year old.

  • What is the deal with calling it "Are You Smarter Than a 10-Year-Old"? The U.S. and Aussie versions both call it "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader". Do they not have 5th grade in the UK?

  • um no we don't...

  • '5th grade' is called Year 5 in UK. 10 year old a lot better sounding than 'are you smarter than a year 5'

  • Thanks for the explanation.

  • No UK has to be different and we don't have grades but Year 1, 2, 3 etc. In fact the 10 year olds are all 4th graders!

  • Smart jid shame the woman didn`t have more confidence in the girl earlier.

  • This question can be taught in American Schools because schools are allowed to talk about the different beliefs in each religion, but the teacher and school cannot show preference to a certain kind or have it interfere with everyday routine (such as praying in school, or telling the children what to believe)

Also there cannot be any discrimination between religions, but unprejudiced discussions can be held

  • i go 2 a jewish school lol so they teach religion there plus im an american

  • i go 2 a jewish school lol so they teach religion there

  • Age 7 World Religions? We don't study that subject in America until college. Religions can not be talked about in schools.

  • we do (UK)

  • That question CAN APPEAR in the American version of this quiz show. However it may fall under "CULTURAL STUDIES" or "ANCIENT CULTURES" subject. I remember the question asking who was Egypt's ancient god of the sun; which falls under "CULTURAL STUDIES" subject. It's probably a "loophole" that is being used to ask a question on religion.

  • THIS WAS ON TODAY - SAW IT BEFORE LOL

    Biscuit type... Im Jewish

  • so this was great!!!! :)))
