im joining the cadets next year and really want to get a ka bar with a kydex sheath to use in the cadets. Does anyone know where i could get one with a kydex sheath? Also great video

You need to figure out which model you want first. Some come with kydex sheaths and others come with leather. I believe you can get a Kydex sheath for any model though.

mrstorky14 u can buy a ka bar knife that comes with a kydex sheath off of amazon. if u do get one get the none leather handle one. get the one that comes with the kraton G handle material. cuz its water resistant. leather will swell up when it gets wet. they have 3 different color choices with the kraton g. one is black the other foliage green and desert tan. check them out on amazon. i got my short ka bar with kydex sheath off of amazon

just make sure you don't use the leather sheath as it retains moisture and will rust the blade.....the nylon eagle sheath is awesome and worth it! i bought mine separately and makes the knife look even better and it very sturdy!

Yea i agree that nylon sheath is better but i like the classic look of the leather. I never use it.. it is simply a collector piece and i have it oiled up so it will not rust.

I have the same Ka-Bar and it's fantastic! I like much better than the new versions in kraton handle. I just wish they removed the top guard as it kind of gets in the way.

I like the leather raped handle better as well. Although i was surprised how much i liked the Kraton handle on my warthog.

Awesome knife, I have plenty of cutting videos with it.

I re-profiled the secondary edge on mine, and it is also all beat up, I have cut alot of brush, split logs, and even used it as a hammer a few times.

But I have noticed that the more scars mine gets, the more attached I am to it. The primary edge is always razor sharp to, much sharper than it was out of the box because I re-profiled it. But because of that, it has no teflon coating on the secondary edge, so I have to keep it well oiled at all times. I was watching a few of your videos, you have one hell of a collection man!
