I am not for direct interference, but if I, the government, see someone who is needy and businesses too expensive for them, I would open a government place for them to afford buying goods. This is indirect interference upon the market, and what Obama's Health Care Reform is seemingly about. Direct interference is when you make laws against the free runnings of the market itself...

I believe in law and order -- which protects the basic rights I mentioned before. So if someone is exploited or mistreated, then a crime is being committed and the just punishments are applicable. This is part of what the Founding Fathers intended.

As for tobacco, the only problem with them was when they were lacing their product with addictive chemicals. That should be addressed. But cigarettes are legal (and gross).

The gummint need not be involved. People can choose to go work somewhere else. Basic, basic, basic protections are fine. But minimum wages, requiring health insurance, etc. are too much. Workers in America are not exploited or mistreated as a rule and when they are, there are proper punishments already in force.
