I have listened to almost every live performance of PTree and they never play YHD! This song changed my perspective towards appreciating music. Music is not merely something to listen to, it can be a journey, an adventure, a beautiful trip. Thank you Steven Wilson, for teaching me another lesson in life, probably the most important one.
This song is utterly godlike. I own something like 18 Porcupine Tree albums and this is still one of the very best songs they've ever written, in my opinion. It's also one of the best instrumentals in rock history.
Great song. This is the version that appears in the Staircase Infinities album. The version in Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape contains an introduction of the (fake) band by Porcupine Tree (aka S. Wilson)....genius !
Oh man just heard this on Pandora for the first time ever. Every so often I'm finding a Porcupine Tree song that I just love... this is one of them for sure!! I recommend this to everybody! SPREAD THE WORD...HAHA!
I CANNOT belive this song only has 400 views! This is one of the greatest build up songs I've ever heard. I wish P Tree would do this live! I can only imagine how good this would sound live, and with Gavin on the drums, rather than just a machine. Incredible!

@Lbradsteen If you love this, you would love the 40 minute version of Moonloop which unfortunately is not on Youtube.
