The whole half-side of the sun just blew up. The object seems so small compared to the flare. It tells me that the gases in the sun are very temperamental, like throwing water on a hot stove.
Thats a big comet. of what I can see it is as big as the earth itself. Though no data if it actually collided at that exact time. probably it is recording the comet traveling to the sun, and much later impacted the sun.
the magnetic field is so strong it just sucked all the debris along a field line, gravity and the sheer size of the sun really cover up how truly massive that impact was
and to think there are stars many thousand times bigger than the sun, the universe just blows your mind. And thats proof right there that we are still primitive beings, we cant fully visualize or grasp the vastness and scale of things in outer space. We still got some evolving to do

Thing like this don't happen very often, especially when planets in our solar system are getting warmer (including Earth), we are experiencing more Earth Quakes and other natural dissasters, as well as the North Pole moving faster and faster over Russia.
